Have just booked flight only to Banjul £278 return, going on the 29thFeb. Booked with "Travel Republic". Going for 2 weeks, i will see for the first time my 3month old Daughter! Can anyone give advice for accomadation for myself, Gambian wife and baby, for that time? Something reasonbly priced, and a good standard.

Hi, when i travel to the Gambia flight only, i normally book my accomodation with Travelpoort a dutch travel company, as most comapnies in the uk do not just do accomodation only. I've always found travelpoort to be very cheap for hotel prices. The website is www.travelpoort.nl. If you email them they will email prices to you. It was cheaper staying in a hotel than it was when i rented a compound once.
I hope that you have a great time and congratulations on your new baby, but can i ask why you have not seen your daughter yet??? |

| Thanks for your help molly75, the only one to reply, out of 170 that read it!! I looked back and noticed "Lurker" had sent a recommendation to someone else regarding the "Balmoral Apartments", I rang Linda there and she was very helpful, she has managed to get us in for 10 days, at D1,000 per night, so very pleased!! I have looked at there "Website" looks really nice. Thanks also for your "Congratulations". The reason why i have not seen my daughter, was due to Family business commitments!! If i had gone at that time it would have put a great strain on the rest of the family, but things are fine now. |
