It is very rare to hear the words 'The Gambia' on BBC television. If you do, normally, it will be on something shocking, for example, the capture of an alleged al-qaeda suspect by Gambian authorities, the Senegalese boat disaster off the coast of Gambia, boat disasters involving our brothers trying to get to the Canaries, etc.
I therefore get really proud to hear something positive this time, Mr. Modou Sowe's name and The Gambia being repeated over and over again anytime he officiates in the on-going African Torny on BBCi.
Mr. Sowe, ajaramah; we are proud of you.

BUba, i would like to add to urs too. I feel grate watching the elegant Sowe officiating the higest level of African football. This makes Gambia at least represented at this Pan_African games. Sowe is not the only Gambian there. In the background is Uncle Omar baru Sey, Former Minster of External Affairs in the first rep. He is currently the Vice-Chair of the refrees committee. If it were not for his political office Mr.Sey would hve been the current Caf President am told.
Sowe known for his no-nonsense man on the field, is a generous and hardworking businessman of the field.
I pray for his continued good health longlife and prosperity and even after his retirement in refeering to continue to serve CAF and the Gambia in whatever way possible.
