jambo, It is a pity that the Gambian building companies build houses not to suit Gambians with their salaries, but others with big wallets. I hope Gambians in the diaspora are going to buy them. This is because there are special places reserved for them as I have been told. |

What are these prices? Are they crazy? |

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

ha id like to see what kind of house you can buy in the uk with £100,000
these houses are obviously gearded for the tourists and i for one would rather buy one of those houses than a bedsit in the uk for the same price... |

Yes I wouldnt want to be in a white ghetto in Gambia. You cant buy anything here in UK for £100,000. Cheapest place where I live is £140,000. Most people have to pay around £200,000 - £300,000 and have a mortgage round their neck for the rest of their lives.
My dream is a little eco house somewhere around gunjur area........one day...... |

I did my search. If you are not interested in white-ghettos, or in the areas where gambians from europe live, if you are ok with just ordinary, authentic, exotic, born/breed gambians, one can get a land (with utilities) around 8,000 - 20,000 USD in smaller towns with little help. I have no idea why two floors houses are so popular with this company. It is more expensive. If you have enough land, one can build 4 bedroom (one level) house including garden with moderate/good standards for 50,000 to 100,000 USD.

Where is the compound located and how much are you asking for it? Friend of mine is interested in having a Gambian "home." |
