American Hope O-Ba-Ma! O-Ba-Ma! O-Ba-Ma! From the far comes the echo Of hope, love and change;
O-Ba-Ma! O-Ba-Ma! O-Ba-Ma! From the near comes the echo Of Unity, peace and togetherness;
So what did we hear? A replacement of: ‘Hope over fear’ ‘Love over hate’ ‘Tolerance over intolerance’ ‘Unity over division’ ‘Peace over war’ 'Justice over injustice' 'Change over anything’ That's the American hope -O-Ba-Ma.

The man is very intelligent. My believe is that people with big ears are intelligent. They listen more with wider antennae |

Here he comes again:

I tell you something: If you are an optimist like me then you are already seeing Obama on the hot seat of the presidency. This world of ours hasn’t ended yet so we are living to witness many better days. Let God Almighty hold onto ending the world yet until we do this one.

Obama is a hot commodity and apparently gaining more momentum across America.
Here is my simple reasoning: The youths form the majority of the voting population in any country, so far, Obama’s votes are coming from that class. Clinton on the other hand is widely supported by the elderly. Obama’s message is very powerful. You can see how in Nevada, he won in the number of delegates but fell below Clinton in the total precincts’ counts. John Kerry’s endorsement coupled of with the many others will no doubt give his campaign a flavor. I am sure Kerry didn’t mean any harm to the Edwards but the least one would have expected as at now would be a neutral stance. I am sure others will disagree including myself. Caroline Kennedy did well by her endorsement of Obama, for her father was a man driven by passion; he won my heart after I followed his nuclear stance. He believes if one nation should have it then all should be entitled to it. I can imaginarily see a brilliant Senator Tedd Kennedy endorsing Obama in the near future.
The big bang where over two dozens states will echo their votes on February 5th 2008 will be another defining moment.
Now here is the pessimistic argument. I don’t subscribe to that. That America is not going to live beyond class, race or gender in this campaign. So far, they proved otherwise. Apparently they are ready for Obama or Clinton which will give them the first president of black blood or the first female president.
Regards, Dalton

............. Apparently they are ready for Obama or Clinton which will give them the first president of black blood or the first female president.
you seem to be right on many of your predictions.Obama won (delegates) in Nevada??? i thought he lost there the US has a funny election system, reminds me of Al Gore.
anyway i think Mrs Clinton should stop playing on peoples' emotion, first she cried (& won), and now she brought Mr Clinton to make some patronising comments (& lost)
the thing is fairy tales come and go, Gandhi was a fairy tale that ended the British Empire, Mandela was a fairy tale that ended aparthied, ML King was a fairy tale, the list goes on. the point is Obama is no match to the above, but his ambitions like all fairy tales can come true. this I think is the chance America (both black & white) is trying to give him.
Obama & Clinton are apparently not the first of their kind to run for the office, and they have not won yet. |
