Bro. Karamba,
is that you behind Yaya jammeh in that pic? (Jokes!!)
For the western readers: It is a myth in some cultures (parts of Gambia) that a feast (eid) should be on a friday. It is highly believed that once that happens, there is change of president/king/ruler. It happened this year, so will this myth of old work for us. Where is Jambo? Sab? Kay? Janko? uncle suntou? turk? everyone else?
add your funny lines. Keep it humorous guys.

Dalton1,
Yes Brother Dalton1. Even the lunar system is full of signs to depict a falling despot from his cruel grips. What is tearing this wicked despot apart is sitting deep in his crunchy skull. The worry about how to face life once unseated is what the scorpion stings inside of the man's flesh. If it has to be me coming after the man, it has to be the shortest transition. All I need is to peg the right pillars of progress and one like your able self will stand as national pillars. When all is set, then I retreat to see if what we all agree on as a nation is what the servants continue to deliver. Janko, Kobo, Kay, Momodou, Bread Man, Santanfara, Karl, Janyanfara, will all have their good roles to serve best of national interest. Our will be a collective responsibility with no single hand to dictate. Surely, no Dictator of Developments or Doctor of Divinity -DD. |

Mawdo Al hassan,
Yes, good notation though. I thank you for it.
Remember, i talked about arafat here. In the history of Islam, there are never two arafat days. 9th of Dhul-hija is arafat day, and 10th of Dhul-hija is eid-ul adha, locally Tobaski. So where do our scholars stand on this? Or was it a plot that the SIC did in their first announcement published (Ref: The Point Newspaper) that it was on friday Dec 21st 2007, since they themselves are tired of getting chased.....only to change it later, when in actual fact, well known to them that yawmul arafat is/was on the 9th of Dhul-hija (Tuesday Dec 18th 2007.) In a matter of fact, Mekkah is not twenty four hours in time difference with the Gambia. So, what's sup?

But araft was on tuesday in Mekkah. In the place where I live, we had our eid on wednesday. In the Gambia, if I may ask the same islamic scholars, when was their arafat day (if at all a different day?)
In the Gambia, like noted on the news piece which I will direct you to again, it says some had it thursday Dec 20th, and others on friday Dec 21st.
Further I ask you, what is your stance on that myth???
Bro. Karamba,
Good speed! It is funny how one (in the caliber of a president) can live on/with myths all his life. isn't it?
I guess he is still burrying some of the going associates of his. I am not the only one letting this story pass by on the point.
