diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.

jambo,
Very intresting. Would the Yankees give these people their independance? The Yankees are very particular in dividing countries. This is a challenge to them. Where is Kayjata? What is expected of the Bush administrations reactions towards this announcment?

I think the Bush administration simply ignores the Lakota declaration of independence. Let's see what will happen the next few months. It is interesting that Bolivia sent a delegation.

Africans could learn a lot from the painful history of the North American Indians. These people were almost extinct in the 19th century, to some extent because they didn't learn who their real enemy was. Instead of standing together they let the Whites manipulate them to fight each other in tribal wars, but in the end they all ended up in poverty, alcoholism and despair - even those who helped the white Americans against other Indian tribes.
