I am trying to compare ticket prices for summer vacation to The Gambia from various European cities and need some help. With SN Brussels I was informed that it will cost 2,760 Euro from Brussels for 2 adults and three children (low season price). It’s around 3,832 Euro from Copenhagen via Brussels with the same flight above.
I am interested to know how much it will cost from Amsterdam, London or other South European cities with direct flights to The Gambia in June and July. Addresses and phone numbers of the travel agencies will be highly appreciated.

Momodou, For Amsterdam (charterflight) go to the following website : www.travelpoort.nl
Prices are depending on the date of travel, how long you will stay (1, 2 or 3 weeks), Don't forget the airport taxes (aprox 90 euro per person) Greetz |

| Hi Jede, thanks. I have already sent an enquiry. Do you know some cheap hotels around Brussel Airport? |

Momodou,
Sorry I don't. But comparing with the prices in Denmark, everything in Brussels must be cheap
Seriously now. No I don't because I'm from Oostende, that's about 120 km from Brussels, so I never have to stay there in a hotel. But you can ask it to Travelpoort. They will give you good advice. jede |

Momodou,
there is an IBIS hotel near Zaventhem airport. It is not at all expensive and they have a regular shuttlebus service to the airport terminals. Also you can leave your car on their carpark for the duration of your holiday, but i doubt if you will travel to Brussels by car. |

Hi Mommodou check out Air Portugal which flies to Dakar and then you will need to get a connecting flight from Dakar to Banjul. The fare is meant to be quite competitive and I was told that you're allowed each a 35kg baggage allowance, which will come in handy for you and your family.
Peace

Momodou.
Why not look at booking a holiday with GE as the whole package is more often cheaper than just flights. This is Gatwick London.
Good luck as I've been told of return flights for as little as 150 euros, although I can never seem to find them myself. |

Now we have lots of internet web sites you can buy tickets from many places. But there are not lots of flights from May to October. During the winter gambia experience are providing more regional flights, which will open up Gambia to a different set of people. I think this is a good thing, but I wonder how the airport will cope? If they are going to continue to check luggage on the way IN to the country that really needs a separate room. AT the moment its chaos. |

Chaos is typical African Bev . In all the airports I visited in Africa (except South Africa) its quiet similar. |
