The Ongoing Crisis: Interrupted struggle.

"True peace is not merely the absence of tension, it is the presence of justice.”, Dr. MLK jnr.

The frustrated army officials, like the general citizenry are pushed beyond elasticity limits. While my heart bleeds another instance, out of the many witnessed incidents for the last 11 years, the coup doesn't come to me as a surprise or nightmare-not at all. In all my speeches around, I made this very clear.

I am not violent, and totally against violence in all its forms, though I support any means to have Jammeh out. My support to have Jammeh booted out is not a selfish stance, but true knowledge of the evil him and his likes represent. Now, with the current military setup, analysts predict, we expect one more coup that is likely to have Jammeh out or a lot of Gambians will fall a victim of what is under eye observation of citizenry rights denial.

The military that has constantly alerted Gambian citizens, more so the opposition of the last chance of peace is to unite, and have the tyrant defeated through the ballot box with a unified opposition, are truly frustrated. This proves beyond doubt that some are trapped in a system that is out there to imprison them, a state of slavery worst than the one in history books.

It is observed that any rallying behind Jammeh now, is one of the evil doers. For one, a new Gov't will bring all those to the book, therefore they will rather dance by Jammeh's music than getting to that level of government, where they will be persecuted. Secondly, the many others feeding on unlawful bounties cannot let go of their grips.

On a night of national mourning, a time of despair, a time of hope for reunification, a time of crying- I hope Gambians at home and abroad will wakeup from their sleep and slumber, and learn the lessons in the offering.

Pieces like this, at the ongoing hour are sad and sympathetic. We are out of tears, and out of slogans and words.

To the many Gambians and friends of the Gambia- neither despair nor loose hope on grips of faith. "Sorry" will not wipe all the tears, I therefore call on every Gambian to be ready for what could escalate beyond expected. This is a struggle we have to shoulder.

I humbly call on Almighty, the merciful to consider us once more, as his humble servants. I hope those in our homeland will get out of this panic pandemic and tyrannical tactics.

Self defense is supported in every religion, culture, and nation. By this, I mean I support any means of self defense to protect our nation and its peaceful citizens. Defending this shadow is a struggle that any patriotic Gambian owe to the country. This might not be a cheap struggle as in ballot removal for an extremist tyrant, but the many forms and means available for us all to utilize, in bringing about freedom and justice. Where the signs for ballot box removal are getting trashed in the gutters, then every genuine human is bound to be triggered by the ongoing oppression, and difficult life. That state of the mind is a difficult one.

“He who lives by the gun, must go by it.”, that’s the words of charity for those following our trends.

When the lord is ready, His words are only "Be" and that event will flourish. Therefore patience and more effort to free Gambians should be redoubled.

I love you all Gambians and friends of the Gambia. May Almighty God give you goodness out of every incidence.

Yero (Dalton)

Has the Lord not thought about us yet? We have doubled our patience and efforts. The waistlines are shrinking.

I have an Eritrean friend and she told me joke about why it does not rain in Ethiopia and her country. She said, when the Lord came down to distribute rain, the whole landscape was green not with vegetation but the uniforms of the soldiers. The Lord said ok, you guys do not need anymore rain because you have forests all over.

I hope this will not be our fate like the Ethiopians and Eritreans. (Laugh)

When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always.
