THIS PIECE HAS BEEN DELIVERED TO MY EMAIL THIS EVENING. I DO NOT HAVE AN OPINION ON THIS PRODUCT, I JUST THINK YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN LOOKING AT IT.

Powerful new documentary reveals: What the West needs to know about Islam -- the world’s most violent religion
“Islam: What the West Needs to Know” DVD
by Gregory M. Davis and Bryan Daly, producers
Since 9/11, numerous Western leaders have insisted that Islam is a peaceful religion, and that violence committed in its name contradicts the teachings of the Koran and the example of the prophet Muhammad. But is this true? Now, Islam: What the West Needs to Know, takes an unblinking look at the so-called “religion of peace” – and demonstrates that Islam is, in fact, a violent and expansionist religion that seeks the destruction or subjugation of other faiths, cultures, and systems of government.

Featuring interviews with noted Islam experts Robert Spencer, Serge Trifkovic, Bat Ye'or, Abdullah Al-Araby, and former terrorist Walid Shoebat, Islam: What the West Needs to Know examines the Koran, other Islamic texts, and the example of the prophet Muhammad to reveal that violence against non-Muslims is and has always been an integral aspect of Islam.
The Islam: What the West Needs to Know DVD reveals:

How warfare – even terrorism -- in the name of Islam stems directly from the teachings and example of the Prophet Muhammad and the commands of the Koran

The truth about Muhammad: a warlord with the blood of thousands on his hands – and how Muslims are expected to follow his example, as Christians are to follow Christ

How the Koran – considered by Muslims to be dictated word for word by Allah – explicitly commands violence against non-Muslims who resist conversion or surrender

“Jihad”: an “inner struggle” over temptation, as some Muslim apologists claim? Not so: how the Koran makes it clear it denotes warfare against non-Muslims in order to bring about the universal rule of Islamic law

How violent death in jihad is, according to the Koran, the only assurance of salvation

How, following Muhammad’s death, his 'rightly-guided' successors carried his wars to three continents -- fighting, enslaving, and massacring countless Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Hindus, and others

How Islam, unlike Christianity, flourished and spread primarily through conquest, not peaceful evangelism

How the Crusades, mischaracterized as a violent assault on peaceful Muslims, were largely a belated response against centuries of Muslim conquest of Christian lands

The Islamic principle of 'religious deception' -- which enjoins Muslims to deceive non-Muslims to advance the cause of Islam – and how Muslim groups use it today

How, throughout its history, Islam has never recognized a distinction between religious and civil authority

How Islamic “sharia” law governs every aspect of religious, political, and personal life -- amounting to a form of totalitarianism analogous to Communism
Note: A Club favorite is now available again. This is the re-release of the same documentary that we sold in 2006.

It needs to be said that you need to avoid watching it when tired or depressed. This is a very sobering presentation that does not *****foot around or shy away from highlighting or revealing the dark or scary true facts about Islam in all its brutality and ugliness with respect to its treatment and attitude towards women and non-Muslims alike and the woeful misconceptions about Islam held by our political leaders and fellow men and women alike. Presentations like this literally should be compulsory viewing if our freedoms are to be preserved. It is a wake up call no one should ignore!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Of course, I cannot rate this DVD as I have not seen it yet. However, I have read your introduction to its key points. I have also seen a shocking documentary on FOX last year which depicted some of what you say is in this DVD. It is more than sobering. It should be required viewing by government departments, then presented by the government ot the public in the form of information required to understand the nature and danger of the war we are all in.
It seems to me that our government is irresponsible if it does not enable Americans to learn the real meanings of this war; from there, we, as individuals, groups and institutions can finally begin to plan for our safety and for any other actions we must take to protect the future of the nation.

Been seriously studying Islam ever since 9/11. This DVD presents, in 98 minutes, most all the salient facts I have learned to date. The presenters are all top authorities. It especially shows how terrorism is rooted in the Islamic religion. Every American should see this.

That shows Bantaba has been infiltrated by cyber-terrorists (those audience/fans/supporters following current critical exchanges under Bantaba World Religions topics and assessing us & our discusions behind the scenes responsible for delivery of the product to your e-mail)! Look at this again "THIS PIECE HAS BEEN DELIVERED TO MY EMAIL THIS EVENING. I DO NOT HAVE AN OPINION ON THIS PRODUCT",

Kay why bring this political tools (A DVD!) here in Bantaba forum We (I presume that from exchanges through Bantaba topics and as a GAMBIAN COMMUNITY FORUM) are not at ANY RELIGIOUS & POLITICAL (WAR OF WORDS), CYBER-TERRORISM AND/OR AGAINST ANY CIVILIZATION OR CIVILIZED SOCIETY. ITS PROVOCATIVE, DANGEROUS AND BEYOND OUR CAPACITY TO HANDLE

Gambia is typical multi-culture, inter-faiths, integrated and very safe to practise any religious belief. We (Bantaba members) share common interests through this forum, interact to share our knowledge and learn gradually from each other.

Am not interested in this DVD and provocative commentaries but willing to share any little knowledge that I understand in my religion (ISLAM!)

Kobo information empowers you whether it is favorable or adverse to your interest. It is in that spirit I share this with you. You do not have to run away from it or brush it aside just because it is adverse to your interests...

Lets take it easy to learn, clear all mis-conceptions, taboos, controversies, inter alia gradually and not tackle provocative sweeping remarks and opinions. The POLITICS should not outweigh OTHER USEFUL BENEFITS IN TERMS OF KNOWLEDGE, ADVANCEMENT OF CIVILIZATION & PEACE FOR MANKIND!

Thanks!

9/11 Since then world order have change. Read again the commentaries, opinions & tirades against ISLAM, PROPHET MUHAMAD (S.A.W) AND MUSLIMS and handle it with your own conscience. The politics is all about POWER, STRUGGLES, SCRAMBLES IN TERMS OF MATERIALSIM, RESOURCES & WORLD DOMINATION. However Islam is a religious ideology for GUIDANCE IN FAITH & SPIRITUAL ENLIGHYENMENT TOWARDS AN ULTIMATE DESTINY (ALLAH!)FOR ITS BELIEVERS ONLY TO FOLLOW THE FOOTSTEPS & LIFE-STYLE OF PROPHET MUHAMAD (S.A.W) IN THE FEAR OF ALLAH (ONE GOD & MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE!).

However reminder for you (Kay!) on my position on Bantaba topics as follows:-

I) QUOTES REPEATED:
a) ANNA "Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all live our lives the way we think best? And respect each other's views? "

b) BANTABA: Bantaba forum GUIDELINES where ISSUES are discussed and debated. ("The guiding line is: Enlightenment, Diversity, Tolerance and Sharing.").

II) Further reminders from the holy Quran under the following:

1) Wikipedia Free Encyclopedia Al-Kafirun PART I
under http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Kafirun
N.B: "To you your religion, and to me mine."

2) Wikipedia Free Encyclopedia Al-Kafirun PART II
under http://www.mounthira.com/learning/surah/109%2Dal%2Dkafiroun/

3) Wikipedia Free Encyclopedia Al-Kafirun PART IIi
under http://www.mounthira.com/learning/surah/109%2Dal%2Dkafiroun/

N.B:Summary of Al-Kafirun; "It defines the right attitude to those who reject Faith: in matters of Truth we can make no compromise, but there is no need to persecute or abuse anyone for his faith or belief."

Finally its not about POINTS SCORING but all about continuos debating, vibrant exchanges, adversaries, diversities, differences of opinions, norturing tolerance & human relations, our capacities and within our limitations. AlL DRAWS! (EQUAL = 50/50) as we interact, share common interests and the use of resources through this OPEN FORUM for a wide range of purposes and benefits; in particular for information, knowledge & education, "intellectual orgasm!",fun (leisure & entertainment), inter alia.

"EVERYBODY IS ENTITILE TO YOUR OWN OPINIONS, CHOICES, CONVICTION, BELIEF & FAITH!"

Kay,What a abhorrent from you AGAIN! We are trying to calm down our temper with you(what a mistake!)you doesn't seems to be a guy comforting with peace at all.
You are not powering information's here but resupplying your hating (COGNIZANTLY) toward Islam (why?).
My appeal to all peace loving Bantaba community, is to simply tolerate (boycott!) this guy with his designedly loathing toward us.
We are not here in kindergarten, this has nothing to do with freedom of speech neither exchanges of informations but animosity, GO ON WITH YOUR DISGRECE AND ENJOY IT, ALONG! am out.

Mbay, please be assured that this article is not my opinion; i just forwarded it just like I forwarded another article (called Race remarks)at the same time, and just like others have forwarded other articles. I agree you may not like the article, but that should not be grounds to attack me for it. We have to understand that in our perpetual search for information and truth, we do not only need to hear information that is favorable to us; but we also need to hear that is adverse or damaging to us. And when we receive information that is adverse or damaging to our interest, we do not have to rage or throw a bomb, but we need to intelligently assess the information and if necessary react to it in a productive intelligent way in order to convince and persuade others about the inaccuracy of the damaging information.
The response I have seen so far is absolute intolerance to dissenting opinion not just towards this article, but also to the person who put it on this forum. I have noticed that Mbay, Kobo and many others would rather have this information hidden under the rug than confront it calmly and intelligently.
We are hoping to build a nation, the Gambia on soild foundations of freedom and democracy, therefore any exhibition of contempt or antagonism to free speech is an incredibly wrong signal.
This is a classic case of "leave the ball and kill the man"; but I do not play soccer now-a-days.

this message actualy reveal the real kayatta. for long this man has been parading himself as a muslim and he want us to take his words for it yet the same man doesn't find any propaganda in a message that was email to him by an unknown author. what kind of person are you ? i didn't even want to waste my time on this message but the accussation you label at kobo and mbay is a twisting of facts.who stand out here to promote democracy and free speech than kobo?
hate and lies is not some thing the civilise people of the world wants to debate about .that message is fill with lies and hate yet you think it is appropriate to discuss it .this kind of lies and facist anti-islamic propaganda are being promoted in many universities campuses by the young republicans in america .some universities ban them and there anti-muslim lies yet a muslim feel that it is ok to pass on such messages.
i use to live in an arrea of coventry where every week i receive a hate letter .i thought this was once in while thing but it continous.i never want my wife to see this letters because it is a message of hate.these writers state their own versions of slavery and many unpalatable anti-black slogans.i didn't see the need to pass on racist letter to blacks to debate about .what would we gain from reading hate and lies ? again if some one is to write a letter to you insulting and making unfounded alegations against your mother ,would you pass that on as well to be debated ? i hope not.

kayatta is the same person accussing me of hating america yet he doesn't see the hate in that message he forwarded here .i hope people see you as are .
the many people here are open minded and they love democracy like you do mister but even in democracy there are limits to what is acceptable and what is not.why just last year an Australian historian was locked up in austria for denying the holocaust ? why .he is entitle to his opinion .democrcay is not some blanket idea that any body can use to propagate his ideas .democrcay have its principles .why can the un declear some contries as undemocractic even though these countries elect their leader throught the ballot box? i can forward here thausand of pages of hate fill messages writen by socall academics of the past some of whom you are happily quoting here .
no one hate you and your small minded way of thinking .i also spoted two comments by you kay regarding ''bowing down and rog ''.these comments applies mainly to muslims .we bow down in prayers and we pray on a rog or matt.inorder for people here to respect you ,respect yourself and the muslims whom you debate with most of the time.
any one can align him/herself with you no problem but don't try to take us for fools.we read behind the lines. momodou created a forum for people like you and i to aggree and disaggree in a civilise way .but some times you try to play on people intelligence. any one can promote his her ideas .be it buhdism, christianity, hindusm ,secularism, judahism etc .it would have been better for you to reply to the writer and advice him/her about the irresponsible nature of the message .did you do that ? did you personally reply the autor or sender ?

Brothers calm down. Be rest assured the enemies of Islam will never succeed. Islam is growing frm strength to strength everyday and NONE CAN STOP IT. They have tried alot of propaganda and yet they fail in their bid. Islam knows no barrier no power be it nuclear or otherwise can stop it.

There is no better terrorist today in the world than USA and her allies. Scores of innocent people are killed on a daily basis in Iraq, Afganistan, Palestine etc, yet this mother of all dictators opens her foul mouth to preach her gospel of lies. The hypocrites should give us a break.

From the Masjeet on Camp Road Jamaica to Mohammed the second, the concourer of Roman Empire mosque in Istanbul, from bundung mosque to Iuguir mosque in siberia, from auburn mosque to Malcolm X mosque in Harlem. We are coming folks. No provocator no enemies will stop us inshallah. Allah-u Akbar.

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.

Let Malcolm X answer you: You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom.

May I add that it is very easy with 40000 per head GDP to be peaceful than 2000 per head GDP.
