hahahha lol . may be you dont see it. but its the body that actually contitutes a humans, dogs, monkeys etc.
like Jambo you are looking at the issue from you own religious belief. if either of you were Hindu, you would believe in a sort of continous live(s) a comb in one life, human in another and cow in the next etc. your view is total invalid to people like GambiaBev who hold a different view on religion as a whole!!
i dont need to go into details why we in West Africa are muslim or christians (both from the middle east) but the point is we die because our DNA is programme for that. if we lived forever, plant DNA, and those of other animas would also adjust in such a way that there would be enough food etc. infact humans themselves would be victims to other creatures
there are animals that live for hundreds of years, they have better DNA. we must not fool our selves to think we are 'super' |

Death is the natural progression of life. The body is a temple which houses the soul. When it's time for the soul to exit the body that's when the spirit or soul or vital energy is released from the body and the energy is released into the atmosphere, the heart stops and the body starts to decay and is buried or cremated. Turning to dust adding to phosphorous needed to begin a new life cycle for the Eco-system. The soul lives on! Now what happens to the soul this is where spiritual beliefs come into action does the soul reincarnate, or go into another dimension which we may call Jenna or Heaven etc.
Scientists rely mainly on the seen but there is so much of what remains unseen and remains unknown. No matter how long one lives on Earth it is impossible for us to know everything in this life-time.
