I agree with a lot that is written in Aminomos text, that positive thinking is a often a key to a better life.
Constant negative thinking can make life hell, make one weak and is a hard cycle to break.

My friend still has many problems that I donīt think I can help her with. She found a dubious guy some months ago and moved in with him almost instantly, just a week after they met and is still living there. I think she is not trying to deal with her issues and is in denial of some of them and blames it on voodoo and witchcraft instead. Donīt know. She got some sort of water from Africa that is suppose to wash away all evil spells..
Maybe it worked because atleast one postive thing has happen after that: she got a job.

Good to hear that she found a job. But her general attitude is worrying. Whom will she blame next time? Anyway, I wish her good luck, and may she be further unaffected by the evil eye...

Water from Africa to wash away spells she should use if for washing with. "Ever since she became enemies with a girl, a Gambian, things in life has gone bad for her". I think she has a guilty conscious, she her facts again.

Babylon,
Do you belive in God? It was god who gave her the job because she has been looking for one.God helps those who help themselves. Positive thinking is a often a key to a better life.Voodoo and witchcraft are for people who do not belive in God or themselves. It has been practised in Africa for the past 2000 years without progress. Gambians have seen how the government of FAFA and the present one invest on marabouts without success. If it was tru and can happen, why is Africa so underdeveloped?
Your friend has to change her attitude towards men. She must not listen to idel talk or advice about vodoo or such nonsens. I don't belive in it and it does not work on me, because I have Gods protection 24 hours a day as a beliver.
Otherwise tell your friend to urinate on the amulets or whatever.

God didnt get her the job, she got it for herself by her own actions!

Spells, witchdoctors, prayers, local medicines, god or gods, men.....

One thing is clear, she is better to have a positive attitude and rely on herself. When something good happens, say YES I made that happen! NOT GOD, not the witch doctor, not my new bloke, but me!
Self belief and self reliance are very important.

DONT sit back and wait for GOD.......... MAKE your life happen for yourself!

Sounds serious this situation and I question the ethics of this, high cost for healing. Whatever this woman can draw on for social support -someone from family, friends, church, mosque, temple, neighbors, or providers like social worker/psychiatrist... maybe there is a possibility that help can reach this lady. Take care.

I would not rule out seeking medication for her depression, like Wellbutron for example, that is if she has the desire to change.

I know it sounds very Western these approaches but you never know what might work for someone may not work for someone else. I dont know if one is asking for suggestions, if not pls disregard.
