can someone help, i heard that in Norther state of nigeria, they governor has issued a dress code for all school uniforms, christian and moslem, private and public schools. is this true.

Jambo all the states in Northern Nigeria have implemented Shariah, so it will not be a surprise if this happens. Northern Nigeria's majority population is muslim.

Okay, but surely if the school is private they can wear what they want. It must mean what they were in the street, as opposed to in school

the fact that outsiders have come into to a region and caused a disturbance in the name of a religion, some of the evangicals i have seen in africa have been thrown out of usa. Some of them are not good people, just money grabbers or worse a cult. Remember Jonesville.

Okay, I see what you mean now. I believe this article talks about what you referred to. Kano, a Northern Nigeria state implemented Shariah in the past few years.
