The on going complaint is the high costs of flights/holidays to Gambia as against other similar holidays in other destinations.
There are other alternatives as against the high costs of Gambia Experience and also Thomas Cook who’s fairs have risen to nearly match G. E.

As at today’s date on the internet prices quoted by Scanair.com are 326 euros to 381 euros (1.40 e=£1) return for a one week to a 2 month stay September to December as against Gambia Experience price of 420 Euros to over 840 Euros return. If you wish to change the return date costs 28 Euros against G.E price of 105 Euros
The flights are from Madrid or Barcelona to Banjul. UK return fairs by budget air lines from under £100

You would have to search the Internet to get the best connection depending on what your departure UK airport is.
For instance you can fly Heathrow or Gatwick by British Airways from July 07 to March 08 and with up to 19 flights a day so connection should not be a problem for £80 return Check out Cheapflights.co.uk.

You can make your flight arrangements and go on line and book the hotel of your choice on line. The first thing people look at when going on holiday is their budget.
I’m sure if Gambia Experience and Thomas Cook were more realistic in their prices more people would go to Gambia to the benefit of all Gambians instead of going to better value holidays in other destinations
SO SPREAD THE WORD FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL GAMBIANS AND TOURISTS

UK airlines are having a hard time of things and are not on a competitive level playing field with other airlines in Europe ( I am no expert and welcome corrections if I am wrong) bearing in mind that Gordon Brown slapped a long haul air passenger duty on flights to Gambia from UK Airports,Europe Destinations benefit from lower rates of tax.Landing charges at Gatwick and Heathrow are expensive,so it is little wonder that airlines in the UK have to charge so much, other airlines in Europe are not throttled by stelth taxes so of course they are able to offer cheaper flights,I have great sympathy with British companies who are hammered by Government greed for money,it also appears that Tony Blairs "cashman" Lord Levy may end up in court. Will Gordon Brown make a good British prime minister or not we will have to wait and see.

I agree with what you say about Gordan Brown which has not helped tourists that go to many countries not only Gambia but for a very long time there has been a general consensus that Gambia Experience prices are expensive compared with simular holidays in other destinations

I don't dispute that,in this case small is not good,if you are Thompsons or someone like that then you have a great more clout, but I must admit that Gambia experience do have good customer care, and their own office ,for instance if you run out of money and only access to your credit card to get it,then they will oblige and get you cash on that card, try doing that with Thompsons and the like,so on balance like with all specialists you pay a little bit more,if you took your mini to a Bentley dealer for an oil change, they would do it for sure but it would cost you !!!
