30-06-2007 Real Banjul of Gambia has secured a place in the 2009 African Football Confederation club competitions.
Real Banjul will be African Champions League entrant next year after pipping Wallidan and Ports Authority in a thrilling climax to the Gambian title chase.
Banjul ended an eight-year title drought by coming from behind to draw 1-1 with Bakau United and pip Wallidan on goal difference while defending champions Ports blew their chance after losing 1-0 to Gamtel.
