reading gainako news this afternoon , i read samsudeen sarr's new book's extract about the 1994 coup de'tat . sam have taken a while to come out with some thing very important to the students of history and politics in the gambia. regardless , i believe the book will shade some new light into events leading up to the eventual coup now a stinker in many quotars.
why now with the book ? was it the recent populicity accorded to sam by gainako and other press ? was it that he was actually writing the book but face some constraints ? whatever the reason for the late publishing of the book we may not know ,but for those interested in other version of past events ,try his book .to know should be a cadinal duty for every living human being .
