Dont say. I never heard of it. The last time i saw him was at his house at the kanifing Estate jovial as always.
May his soul rest in peace.
I saw him abt three yrs wen i was in Banjul, he looked pale and sickly. I think he got frustrated at the Ministry, where he was never allowed to rise beyond a PEO. I think later he was posted at schools Farms project. He was retired either in 2004 or thereabout. May Allah grant him Jannah. |

Amen
I thought supressions in the civil service have since stopped in 1994? In one of the interviews of the Junta, they complained of the wolof expression: KHAM GA MAN MAI KAN syndrome that they said was synonymous with the PPP regime.
Another complain on BBC was the issue that one man perpetuated himself in power for 30 years and that there was no term limit for the Presidency. I just played Jammeh's first interview in July 1994 on BBC giving reasons for the coup. Its very refersehing.
You think GRTS Radio will play the tapes. I will send it to them if they will. |

If Yahya Jammeh thinks playing the fool of himself is what material and financial success means, he is in for an ugly surprise. Talking big and playing mean is not what a decent person takes pride in. If by denouncing what he calls the dirty dealings of others and then turning around to do same or worse, that is good reason for decent Gambians to be careful of Yahya. |
