who was baba jobe ? wasn't he the thug who did all the dirty work for jilanka ? i never show him but i heard he was real nasty . i use to see his brother in the accountant general in quadrangule boasting like mad. then we use to work with the military account staff. let him rot .if people aggree to oppress ,they will betray each .this is what is happening .i personally know a police commander who once privately told me what activities they do for yahya .he said they coodinate the arrest tactics for intimidating oppossition. he said '' we arrest them at night and we threaten them with every thing untill they do what we want ''.this man is also dumped by yahya from my latet enquiries about him .he is now jobless.

Santanfara,

It is like playing the mob justice over the criminal on broadway. Baba Jobe and all those who fell out of grace with their boss Jammeh deserve this slow suffering when they get tamed in the cages of Mile Two Prisons. In a realistic way of assessing the situation, Jammeh will take on his men one after the other until they clear out. They are all pretending to each other. Jammeh pretending and his cogregation also pretending amounts to what we all face in Gambia of this decade. It is an interesting drama that is unfolding. Some times you can quench your dislike of the situation by deriving fun out of their drama. This game had a beginning, it has a middle, and now facing the end. At end of the show, some members of the musical drama will disappear with their instruments not wanting even the natural blow of soft wind to hit their strings. All we can do now is to pray for the long life of them and us so that in the twist of events as they unfold, everyone will remain common witness. They know more than you will think, that the show is heading for a last episode. Following what now prevails as last blow in the wind of changes, a final chapter can be accurately drawn up. These are not hateful wishes. It is a reflection of the events that reel under our open eyes. All prayers for long life of the perpetrators and their victims.

That is what we call School of Hard Knocks; having the test done and then learning the lesson afterwards. The ex-police commander like many of those who thought Jammeh as saviour will be out for bigger surprises.

Foday Barry, Baba Saho, Kujabi, Daba Marenah and many of their secret comrades at the NIA have tortured and detained so many people in a bid to squeeze information from them. Where are they today? One day master, next day servant. Who is next?
