british shihks up in arms .www.bbc.co.uk .an asian lady of the shihk religion and culture went into a muslim couples house seeking to become a muslim .this young girl is going to a nearby college .she did not inform her parents ,they later found out that their daughter has become a muslim .the parent sent a group young shihk men into the couples house to fetch the girl but the birmingham police heard already taken the girl under there custody .the parents are saying all sorts of things. they claim that their daughter has been forced to convert ,some say she has been brain washed. which is which ? forced ? the police would have arrested those responsible without delay. the girl is not willing to go back to the parents. for shihks that is a big issue .the parents may relocate to avoid any embarrasement.culture trouble.

Conversion is always a tricky subject.

I once visited a Sikh temple in Leicester. The people were lovely. A lady spent a long time with me discussing her religion. There was never any attempt to convert me, just to educate me about their ways.

If someone FREELY converts then that is a matter of personal choice. But if there is any element of persuasion then the conversion is suspect and worthless.

Christianity and Islam are both guilty of evangelical style conversions in the past. I hope it will be less so in the future.
