Greetings to all of you who still loves the Gambia , our homeland . Even though times are tough and our country continues to struggle , our love for " the Smiling Coast " has not diminished . Please keep up the enthusiasm .
THE GAMBIA:
You sure 'll enjoy the Gambia
There's no noise, crime, or pollution
She's the gentle pulse of a river
The sandy beaches
The clean, fresh air
We 're the smiling coast
So natural
Never been touched
Never been kissed , even
You sure'll enjoy the Gambia
No noise, crime , or polltion
Paradise isn't lost afterall
Fishing , bird-watching , sun-bathing
The nights are great
Like Saturn's rings
We're the smiling coast
With a heart like an ocean

Thank you momodou for that link. As a young one I have for the first time a feeling of how the independence went. "To the Gambia ever true". Peace! |
