Jammeh threatened to fire some of the HIV patients under his treatment. He was reportedly unhappy with his treatment results. Please click on the link to read about the results. Is it a matter of time before the truth comes to light?

dbaldeh ,you have uncovered a big issue here. so no one should have a nice time whilst on his treatment . .sounds right.karamba should give yaya some credit for his succesful treatment of some people. what a farce. why can't he use mrc to test the result ? transporting those samples may even be risk. |

Yes, Uncle Santa, "transporting those samples even be risk". i share your sentiments greatly.
Oops! Something is funny in this trend of healing. How soon will this push and pull over the truth end? At least, for now, if reports from Senegal and Morocco are to go by, then 'Jammehcin' is far from being a cure to HIV/Aids. Though, we are yet to conclude, but it truly leaves one hanging in the air as to what the real truth is surrounding the whole 'nehnehmajeh' ordeal. I understand that nothing contributes more to this campaign than the fact of a society dwelling on traditional beliefs, most of which contradicts religion and science. We know that the marabouts and their affiliates deal with invisible 'devils' and 'demons', so what is Aids not to be cured by these marabouts. And Jammeh is a marabout like the many others that uses backs of trees, the Q’uran, animal organs, et cetera to heal. The race continues.
But at least good efforts from Jammeh regarding proving his claims right. It helps to show that he believes he is curring them. But after curing his patients, he should not threaten them. Back off Jammeh! A doctor should never get tired. Mix the ‘yellow’ liquid and serve it out with one banana fruit to help neutralize the bitterness of the liquid.

There is no risk if transported properly. The omnly one answer I would like to here is if the said Hiv-possitiv persons are neutral. They should not have any connections with the said doctor. Otherwise I doubt how accurate the tests done i Marocco are? As most of the cpuntries in the middle east and North Africa do not debate hiv. |

Jammeh's efforts to test his patients should not be misinterpreted as good reason for his degrading treatments. We must remember that even though he may believe that he is able to cure the disease that is not good reason to take such a high risk in putting peoples' life at stake.
It is also prudent to remember that dectators have always tried to proof themselves right in suppressing their people. It is like Saddam Hussien or Mogabe trying to justify killing people for opposing them.
Jammeh put himself under tremendous pressure and strip his clothes in front of the whole world. Off course he must do anything to try to salvage his head. Why selective laboratory for testing his patients if he is not on to anything deceptive. Am not buying any reason to give Jammeh the benefit of the doubt. He is wrong and will always be... |

I don't know about all this story of a president now becoming a doctor. To focus on the greater picture it worries me when a president takes his time off his presidential duties to work on something he was not mandated to do.
As Jammeh unfocuses over his more pressing duties as president of the republic, firing more ministers, detaining more people, I wonder where this nation of ours will go to.
Did we by any chance vote him in for him to become a doctor or to work as president? Where does the pay we pay him go to?
My worry is that we the people will start soon paying for his excentrics.
Maybe now is as good a time as ever for him to hand over the reins of power to someone who does not enjoy the faculty of medicine but moreso the privilege of running this country better. |

Bro. Haile,
What sup with the slow pen now a days? After u recruited a lot of us in this forum, i sometimes wonder about the slow pen of yours. I remember your lengthy and well researched articles. Kindly, get us back to that speed, will you? I understand that this online thing is all a wrestle game, sometimes pleasant, sometimes unpleasant. So, should be the real life anyways.
You too, welcome after that long silence, except for your appearance here and there.
Jah peace be over all!
As for Jammeh, we are already paying the price of having.
