Tourist's in The Gambia thinking of venturing to Dakar- try making it Sunday 21st January and combine seeing Lac Rose (rose coloured water) with the finish of the Dakar Rally. If travelling by road remember your passport and start off Saturday with overnight stay. Finish parade usually at Noon beside Lac Rose. For people in UK watch beautiful Africa scenery thru Eurosport/UK which covers the rally daily, usually 21.30hrs repeated 07.30hrs.
