ALL FANS !!
I will take a short break for now, and will see you all shortly. Though is a time of bleeding hearts, that's why we all want to preserve our little opinions. I thank you all fans, we will get it rolling shortly again. That love for a country is not cheap. This is a shared struggle, and unless and until we use the brains as the touch lights on the dark paths, then we will all be loosers. That's why we should all value and utilise Critical thinking now. All i know, it's a critical time, when any stand point look bias, and any comment look offensive or defensive, otherwise hypocritical or associative. Thelanguage (english) in which we are expressing our ideas is not our tongue (for some of us), and thereby you are either reading wrongly, too much, too less, or you are misunderstanding someone's point Or for fact understanding it well.Either way, you cannot make a mistake by being quiet. And sometimes, better be a fan than a game player, so that you can see what the fans, coaches and the referees are arguing, only by balancing the two sides of the story fairly. I will be back when a flagbearer is chosen, and then we will make it a teasing matter, and then we will all shake hands and laugh. Then we will all reconcile, and burry the hatchet more.
I am not loosing hope, that Baba Loony will be booted out. It's such a simple statement, but that the efforts to unite lies on all of us as humans to make the difference.
Don't loose your friends, and your loved ones over what will be a joking matter once a leader emerge. So heads up Gambians, shorty or lanky, you all count. It's our matter, we should carry it on our shoulders. This is a test from the Almighty, and we will pass it. Once Jemus Loony is out, which should be our sole aim, Gambians can sort their difference amicably.
* I have a dream that one day, when a Nadd Gov't is in power, i can hold a banner as an individual, and demonstrate at the statehouse door, without being arrested or tortured, and that people's view on things will be listened to.
* I have a dream that one day, Gambians will walk in the streets of the capital (Banjul) without seeing the colour or tribe of his pathway walking mate.
* I have a dream that the new Gambia in the making through Nadd, will be a levelled Gambia, where it will be true democracy-of the people, by the people and for the people. (President Lincoln).
* I have a dream that one day, our political, media and humanrights activists can do their activism, without fear, and to be free from all Gov't hostility or oppression.
* I have a dream that one day, transparency and accountability on our taxes and levies will be in the open.
* I have dream that one day, the Gambian judiciary will be free from influence of dictators, and totally independent.
To all of you fans, i say a big "njaramah". May the peace and love of the Almighty Allah/God/Il/Jomiradoo/Manso/Meitei/Allaha/Yalla (and His many beautiful names known and unknown to us) come down on all Gambians, and other humans...ameen. Whoever happened to be chosen by concensus, i am in 100 %.
LONG LIVE THE GAMBIA !! LONG LIVE NADD !! LONG LIVE STGDP/AGERA !! LONG LIVE THE STRUGGLE !! LONG LIVE MEDIA ORGANISATIONS !!
PEACE POEM :TWO WEEKS IN JANUARY. A call on patriots.
The bell rang, and Nadd echoed. Supporters dispersed, and trouble started.
That love for a country is not cheap. "That citizenship cannot be an accident." (Halifa)
Some scripters reported, and they echoed Manda. Others reported, and echoed Paula.
Should both scripters be blaimed ? Should both scripters be hailed ?
Mandarites echoed Manda. Paularites echoed Paula.
Let the Olarites echo Ola . And then i will echo Inda.
That's how we are all wrong. And how we are all right.
Lets change the game a little, And the Paularites echo Manda, and the Mandarites echo Ola.
Many say it's softness or association. Others say it's t'ism or association.
Should a leader be based on t'bal majority ? Or should a leader be based on suitability ?
Should choice of a leader be based on friendship ? Or should it be based on forceful means ?
Nah, a leader should be t'less. And a leader should be suitable and salable.
Let Manda and his many Mandarites humble themselves. And Paula and his many Paularites do the same.
The Mou says "hay" The Mou says "hay"
What is the neutral point ? What is the generally accepted version ?
Neither to lie or hate Manda. The same for Paula.
But should Manda be chosen, and Paula says more blabla, then Paula should expect that when chosen, Manda will say more blabla.
Then we are coupled up with infinity blabala, and never an intersection. And then we will be victims of the hateful pala-t'ism or asso'tism.
What is wrong in the process of Nadd flagbearer selection ? And what is right in it ?
The push and pull is democratic, only when we finally agree on one. The push and pull is genuine, only when we iron the differences.
Imaginarily, i Saw the retarded Jemus hailing his jalangs for a good job, The girl-parrot and the boy-parrot too gave each other a five of a hand.
I saw the failed professor walking in the observer hallway with an angry smile, And the hateful 'DO' ready to publish.
I saw Ola bent his head in shyness, Over what could be an under-estimated tragedy.
I saw chairman patrota shake his head , Over his last chance to withness the birth of a democatic regime.
Now to cure Manda and his mandarites, And to cure Paula and his Paularites.
Let the mandarites choose Ola. And the paularites do the same.
So that when Jemus is stripped naked and get stranded, We can have both Manda and Paula contest their own ballots.
Though, i am neither Manda nor Puala, I am either Paula or Manda when chosen.
Now, should you judge me or any Manda or Puala, Your opinion doesn't mean hate to me, just like mine shouldn't.
Baldeh, Touray, Jobe, Nyassi et al... all got trapped in it, That's how we are all wrong and right, and not only certain individuals.
Your right is supporting your loved ones, And your wrong is getting extreme in it.
Lets step foot on it now and for ever, and shame the hateful saitan, For not only succeeding in penetrating us, but also whirling us away so high in the skies.
The famous and noisy two weeks in January are worth calculation, And that the two weeks in January are both our enermy.
In the Almighty's name, we pray humbly. And in His true name and mercy, we rely .
A CALL ON ALL PATRIOTS. "United we stand, divided- we fall astray.", (GT).
