Could you email me that prayer? I would like to print it for my bedside.
Thanks

I will do just that. Spiritual you are, and kind. That's life...

An informative and non-biased report.

And besides religious motives: The veil can help to escape from the expensive, time-consuming fashion 'terror'..!

True, that's why unlike most other women I hate to buy clothes. And I hate to read those supermegagigastupid women's magazines to be informed about the latest bull**** in fashion. But I found my style, and even my critical husband likes it.

Thanks, Santanfara - you seem to be a good husband. It's nice to hear you are proud of your wife! I would also like to design my clothes, but I am having a real struggle with sewing machines... But I like to knit and design fancy pullovers, jackets, ponchos etc.

By the way: the demonstration i was writing about in my posting of 25 November attracted more press people than demonstrators. There were 20 women demonstrating, 13 of them wearing burka. But there were at least 100 press. Fortunately, there were no counter demonstrations.

And it's true: wearing a burka saves a girl a lot of worrying in the morning, but i would still like to feel the wind through my hair.

1. He "who still holds Moroccan citizenship." (Tur-ban)
2. It will be interesting to observe if she will be insisting on wearing the hijab:

Of course, compared to Holland, Britain is less advanced with Cordial relations with Mulims as we can all see from the permanent terror alert - and it is not that Muslims do not participate in the say so -Britain has Muslim lords and peers, sirs, and influential business allies.
But could Great Britain appoint someone like Nyamko Sabuni, from as unlikely a place as Burundi, as Minister of Integration and Gender Equality?
?
