ANOTHER DEATH FROM THE GAS EXPLOSION

Abdou Fadera, a 25 year old has been the latest victim to die from the gas explosion, which racked the residents of Kanifing Estate.
Fadera died in Dakar on Friday where he was rushed for further medical attention.
The father, Saikouba Fadera described the death of his son as a great loss to their family. "Abdou was my friend. He was very close to me," the father said at the funeral on Saturday.
Fadera's death has raised the number of death from the gas explosion to seven. The explosion occurred at the home of Ousman Njie on the 30th of last month, leaving eighteen with severe burns.
Abdou's body was returned from Dakar on Saturday and funeral services were held the same day at the Kanifing Estate Mosque, after which he was interred.
