Its unbelievable that the current African U-17 champions (The Gambia) have been eliminated by Senegal on 4-0 aggregrate. GFA and its coaches should explain. Our football should not have such a freefall after an impressive rise within the last two years at youth level. Some have accused the Coach Alagie Sarr as having picked almost 75% of the team from his native Banjul. Banjul is not the Gambia. The previous team by Ghanian coach was a truly national team.
Its a disgrace if for selfishness a whole nation's faith could be sacrifice on the basis on a bais team selection. Bias team selection has dogged Gambian football for a very longtime.
