Jambo - The Kombo Beach was brought/shares by The Gambia Experience two years ago.

The world would be a poorer place if it was peopled by children whose parents risked nothing in the cause of social justice, for fear of personal loss. (Joe Slovo - African revolutionary)

It is reported that GPMB had a net worth of D113,163,000.00 by 1992. Stock of spare parts were valued at D11, 353,000.00 (daily Observer March 6, 1995 page 16).

However GPMB was sold for D20,000,000.00 to Co-operative and Alimento and renamed GOPMAC ( Ministry of Finanace budget speech June 1994 page 32).

Why was GPMB sold for this small change.

Jambo, Gambia experience staff I have met have ALL been Gambian. Never been to office. I LIKE the fact they employ Gambians to front the business, but I thought it was British, not Dutch!
