We have 1,272 hours to go as of TODAY before we share cakes, or crumbs....someone tell the blasted Opposition to stop toying with our lives and come together....history will not treat them kindly. Darboe and Hamat, YOU are responsible for the plight that shall befall the country after September 22nd 2006. I hope your greed, and lust for power catches up with both of you! Bad men…chem!

UNITE! UNITE! UNITE!

OB1, you crack me up. The word "Chem" is very demeaning. This is one of the universal words that pretty much all local dialets use very often towards people that they think have no value to society. I would not wish that word use against me anywhere any place, but yes, you are definitely right to use it on those politicians.
Keep up the humor because we need some before political depression ruin us.
Peace!!!

Baldeh,

Folks, to make matters worse, there are CONFIRMED defections from UDP and NRP to APRC. Two high profilers left over the weekend, both executive members of both parties. Not to mention the over 200 plus picnickers that ‘pressed the flesh’ with Jammeh, all of whom belonged to the NRP. So this should send a clear message that people are very upset with Darboe and Bah. Otherwise, how come none is defecting from NADD? Although none are joining them. This tells me that all those that left, know that Jammeh will win, because of the deep division created by Hamat and Darboe, way to go guys, Well done! You have discredited yourselves, alienated your loyal followers and handed victory to Jammeh before the voting started....'WHO SENT YOU? (Khan mor len yoou neh!?)' SPOILERS!

Darboe and Bah should not be invited to come speak to any group in the Diaspora again, they have no credibility. They came in 2004 and said they would join a UNITED front, and lied. Then they came again and Bah said that in 2 weeks the opposition would be united….well, 2 weeks have passed and nothing! Just stay away! We are tired of hoping against hope. Let’s rally behind NADD, send them money, and ask relatives to turn out in mass numbers and vote for them, and hope for the best. That is it.

Mr. Baldeh, I can relate to your frustration. It is unfortunate that these are the people who are seeking to lead and govern The Gambia. To better answer your questions regarding to what Hamat is talking about refering to the so called baked cake, Hamet has no sense of direction. And more disturbingly, nothing seems to be of importance to this guy. It won't be a surprise to learn that Hamet is a member of the APRC party.

It is evident that the UDP/NRP has no realist goal to achieve. Hamet's quick move to embrace the UDP as a partner to a new coalition within the NADD coalition is a great manifestation of how unrealistic these guys are.

I would rather have Yaya, than these unconscious leaders who proved beyond reasonable doubt their lack of vision and a sense of direction.
