I hate to pass judgment, but the shooting of such a brilliant girl is unacceptable. There is a way out. Now that the damaged has been done, he should cooperate with authorities on extactly what happened leading to the shooting. Without a doubt, he might have his reasons for doing the act which will never justify the killing. This will ensure: (1)justice is properly served.(2) Will give him a sense of relief over taking responsibility. (3) It will help both families/friends accept things for what they are and move on another chapter. (4) It will help prevent such a problem from happening again....a learning curve for others.

Dalton 1 It would be hard for Oscar to escape justice! His pal said: “It’s all very sad. Oscar called me at 3.55am saying that Reeva had been shot. I said, ‘What are you talking about? I don’t understand’. He repeated himself, ‘There’s been a terrible accident, I shot Reeva’; without calling Police earlier.

A strong defense added to a weak prosecution puts him on bail. The prosecution must prove beyond reasonable doubt. The previous team working on the case were they themselves under probe for murder.
