It seems a pity that the wrong advice was given to H.E. in the timing of his speech on a very important subject of future development, the preamble of the report (In the Point) of H.E.s speech contains this passage "In a televised address to mark the 18 years of the July 22nd Revolution, which unlike in previous years was this year’s marked on a low-key due to the holy month of Ramadan," so who advised H.E. to make such an important reaffirmation of his major goals at this time of the year ? seems a little odd.
H.E.'s speech starts with the words: President Yahya Jammeh has reechoed his opposition to corruption, tribalism, and nepotism all virtues inimical to development and progress, calling on all Gambians to reject such vices for the betterment of the country."
