Social class struggle and economic injustice are no strangers to mankind. In Russia, it sparked a revolution that until today rocks a nation battling to settle.

You must be nightwork Karamba, not much happening, anyway I did have a skim through your link,I found a comment that I found interesting :

"No doubt the serfs and peasants in the UK were very similar before being freed from serfdom. We don't have any photos of the 1700's to compare."
I wonder what the commentor could have meant ?

OK now.got to be an overdose of politics

Toubab1020, the photos speak volumes. Social justice has never been that palatable meal for ruling class. Peasantry in all societies passed through similar conditions at different epochs of history.

How will you contrast slavery and peasantry ?

Leaving rest with you for remainder of the night.

Karamba,I should have seen your response coming I suppose OK, here is MY OPINION,times have moved on and in western society such instances of "owning" people are rare.
In many other countries of the world servitude today is rampant and accepted,VERY WRONG,should not be tolerated but it is tolerated and accepted.

Being conditioned and having to accept are different in bigger ways. What some people impose on other people elsewhere may not always suit yet still endured.

No, no, Toubab1020, nothing to do with culture. It is a relation between between exloiters and the exploited. "exploitation de n'home par n'home", "exploitation of man by man" excuse my poor spelling.

People take cover of culture to bite on the skin on others. Human selfishness has no bounds.

Yes, that is it Toubab1020. Society will never advance to point of stamping out bias and selfishness. Even culture is open to exploitation.
