Both of the above independent countries have Portugal and France as their "former colonial masters" as Africans like to put it,consequently both still have ties to these European countries to some extent,is it likely that any "help" given to these two countries is likely to dry up because of the "euro" problem and subsequent downgrading of their credit rating? Portugal's bonds in particular have been described recently as "junk".
Any takers for a discussion ? No? Well I tried.
