Guinea-Bissau,has so much going for it,several problems,no direction,no structure,no plans, stumbling from one problem to another, power struggles ,all about money and exploitation, many criminal elements I suspect are still doing "business". ECOWAS appears to be a totally toothless tiger unable to bring any stability. What is the answer to saving this country? What form of administration is best for this country? Most of Africa chooses a Republic form of administration, does that really work? The Army in Africa have great power, are they using that power for the benefit of the citizens of that country,or for other reasons? I am no expert on any of this stuff but such questions interest me,Will Africa ever be able to compete with,Western Countries, arab countries,Indian sub continent,China etc. do Africans want to compete ?
Does anybody on Bantaba care?,or is this just a political platform for all those disgruntled people who have not been able to get their party ideas accepted by the Gambian people,do the Gambian people in fact care about any of this or are they only after their own self interest.?

I fear that there will be more trouble before any election in this country, history shows this and similar events can be expected:

"Sanha was elected that same year, vowing to reform a powerful army which has long been tangled with the state and implicated in cocaine trafficking in a state whose history is studded with coups and political vengeance." |
