Moses Richards has fallen in the big mouth of Kanilai crocodiles and now crying for mercy. He is set to be free after crying loud from Mile 2 prisons. He denounced the move by Gambia Bar Association aimed at his judicious freedom. He prefers the heavy hands of chairman Jammeh to lift him from prison. Read his letter to president pleading for mercy.

ADMISSIONS OF GUILT!

1. "As you are aware, the Banjul Magistrate Court, presided over by Alagbe, found me guilty on two counts of giving false information and sedition and sentenced me to two and a half years imprisonment with hard labour, the implication of this is that I must stay in prison for that length of time, I appeal to your personal sentiments, your office, your religious sensibilities and of course, the track record of your humane and generous disposition, to exercise your prerogative powers in my favour, by granting me pardon."

2. I had no intention to disparage you, with all these events, knowing how, I have always had the impression, that you love me so much, that I now wonder, how I got into this sorry situation, please your Excellency, your kind, generous and human heart, has been enjoyed by those who had done worse things than I have, that is not to say that I have any excuse for myself at this time, but find it in your kind nature to extend, this generosity to me, as I am on my knees pleading for mercy."

3. "Right now your Excellency, I am seriously afflicted, that I have offended you, and that grieves me greatly, because you are like a father and a mentor, I shall never conceive in my mind to offend, however, your Excellency, to err is human and to forgive is divine, let us turn a new life page today, and the spirit of the Ramadan that has just ended, say to you, “balal ma achal”."

What Richards should have stated is that he was sent to jail by his dad Jammeh. It is said that cabinet ministers and public servants do call Jammeh (pa bi) daddy. When it pleases captain Jammeh, doors of the prison will set ajar for Richards to swing his two hands in free air.

Hopefully when Moses Richards gets back the job of jailing others, he will consider what it means staying at Mile 2 chambers.

Moses Richards has lost his dignity, integrity, public image, a disgrace to the Bar Association, must face an ethics commission for disciplining on "Professional Misconduct" and a tough battle ahead of him to save his career; with this admission of criminal record! I wonder where this will lead to? If Sana Sabally served his term and Baba Jobe is still serving sentence without prerogative of mercy for being former aides and confidants, I don't think Moses Richards stands any chance of being granted his plea

AM SO SORRY FOR BROTHER MOSES AS HIS HEALTH AND FITNESS MAY NOT ALLOW HIM TO SUSTAIN THE HARDSHIP IN JAIL AT MILE 2 PRISONS FOR MORE THAN A YEAR? HE IS A VERY VULNERABLE PERSON, LIFE AT RISKS THERE AND REALLY SAD SITUATION FOR HIS FAMILY

By twist of fate, big man Jammeh finally wiped of bloody tears from Moses Richards who now goes free after admitting guilt and thrown in jail. Deal done. Freedom at last. How much dignity paid as price, still unkknown.
