Supposedly, I mean evidently, no one would fight a lost battle.
Well, some battles are lost before fought and yet others are lost in battle.
The difference is, to lose an un- fought battle has a bigger physiological impact than the trauma of death, hence, death is a necessary end.

No wonder, even the British accept, well after nearly 100 years, that they lost the Battle of Isandlwana.

It would be wise to fight another day

Even whereas the battle is lost the men are "remember-worthy"

Mr. Politician needs to understand that this battle is a lost one if he wants to win another day.

Kobo, thanks

Can you imagine a night that never downs, a season that never ends, a plat that never flowers or a baby that never grows.

Interestingly there is no daybreak without the night before and without spring the summer would never bloom. Seasons come and go to give way for other forms of life.
Politics works the same way, at least in an ideal world.

What about ship wreck in deep, like titanic tragedy in ocean and passengers caught between life & death? What are the expectations

You philosophies on revolution, spinning around and transformations; a reality of how the world is and birth of new nation in politics and systems are part of metamorphosis

DEATH LIVES AT MILE 2.

http://thepoint.gm/africa/gambia/article/prison-authorities-confirm-death-in-custody

"a prison medic at the State Central Prisons Mile 2 who identified himself as one Babucarr Jatta, told the court: “I am sent by my Director General of Prisons to inform the court that the 4th accused died on Sunday 9th October 2011, at night. He added that the body of Dennis Wilgo Winter is currently at the mortuary at the RVTH in Banjul, and that correspondence would be sent to the National Drug Enforcement Agency."

Celebration -abnormality

Celebration is celebration but different.
The celebration of a first victory is more
exciting than that of a fifth victory.
Celebration is different depending on who
celebrates or and what is celebrated.
Mandatory celebration is not as eager as an
opposition celebration. It is noteworthy when
a mandatory celebration becomes more enthusiastic
than an opposition celebration.

The assumption is that mandatory celebration has
happened so many times before that it should not
be as exciting as if it were an opposition celebration;
hence it is just another victory.
On the other hand the opposition is expected to be
much more eager to win and therefore more enthusiastic
in celebrating; hence it is the first victory.

Solemn ceremony with dedication
Allegiance by deviation from routine
Uplift unity the glory of nature
Honor solemn commitments

Citizen dance
First victory
Celebrate
Observe fraternity

Empty the seat
Vacate the throne
The light in the tunnel
Is worth thirty percent resistance

Renounce power
Rights Guarantee
Legalize level playfield
The very arbitrary instrument

Not compulsion
Praise and principle
Not malice
Pride and responsibility

Like an imam celebrate prayer
Refrain from selfish business
Celebrate genius
Celebrate compromises

Halifa Sallah: Has OJ lost Focus?

".....On my part, even though I may not be able to resist a determined pressure for me to stand as a candidate in the National Assembly elections, what would have been best is for me to work on party building, develop language skills to be able to speak Fula, Jola, Serahule, French and Arabic fluently, transform my manuscripts into books and may be even link to Universities to get PHD in Sociology and Economics before engaging the APRC in full force in 2016. If the public could have given me this respite without feeling that I have abandoned them, I would clearly attain all I want to attain in life in these five years and devote the rest of my life to their civil, political, economic, social and cultural emancipation. Will this be possible? Time will tell...."
