Normal life, private business on-going and a peaceful PUBLIC HOLIDAY! Voting usually close at 6.00pm and results relayed on GRTS, LIVE COUNTING AND INTERNATIONAL OBSERVERS

SMILING COAST OF AFRICA never had a curfew during elections day

For tourists its advisable not to risks leaving your hotel as results are being released later in the evening

The risk? 65 percent majority deserves a celebration by people of Gambia and friends of Gambia. No?

diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.
