1. BANTABA POLICIES ACCOMODATE DIVERSE OPINIONS AND AN OPEN DOOR POLICY? IT IS THE FORA WHERE IDEAS ARE WELL SEASONED, WELL COOKED AND SERVED AS A PALATABLE DISH OF "BALANCED" DIET TO THE PUBLIC FOR THE GAMBIA OUR HOMELAND

2. WE NEED TO BE INFORM HIGHLY ON REALITIES ON THE GROUND; VIBRANCY OF PROPAGANDA MEDIA ON 2011 GENERAL ELECTIONS, KEEP TRACK OF EVENTS, UPDATED AND FOLLOW ANY DEVELOPMENTS AS COVERED IN THE GAMBIAN MEDIA; ESPECIALLY NATIONAL NEWS ON MAIN NEWSPAPERS AND OTHER ON-LINE MEDIA

3. BANTABA TOPICS ARE FOR PUBLIC CONSUMPTION AND NOT FOR PROPAGANDA OF ANY OPPOSITION PARTY; BUT GAMBIAN POLITICS TOPICS ARE REALLY HOT TOPICS AND CAN BEDAZZLE YOU AS BEDAZZLED IN THIS TOPIC AMONGST OTHERS

DAILY OBSERVER NEWS;
Banjul leads ‘Dello NJukal’ initiative for President Jammeh

"Tuesday, November 01, 2011

The Banjul APRC Youth Wing has taken the lead in the ‘Dello Njukal’ initiative, a Wollof word meaning ‘reciprocating good gesture’ [to President Jammeh] by presenting an amount of D9, 860.00 to the lord mayor of Banjul, Samba Faal Monday at the Banjul City Council Chambers.

Presenting the money to Mayor Faal, Aja Yama Njie, a member of the Banjul APRC Youth Wing Committee, explained that the objective of the ‘Dello Njukal’ initiative is for every APRC youth to contribute D1.00 each for President Jammeh to pay his candidacy fee for the forthcoming presidential election, because the youths were the very people who told him [President Jammeh] not to campaign for the election.

For his part, the chairman of the Banjul APRC Divisional Committee, Alhaji Momodou Biri Njie, thanked the youths for the good gesture, noting that they have done a great job in mobilising Banjulians to respond positively towards this noble initiative.

Abdoulie Corr, youth mobiliser in Banjul, hinted that they have almost met their target, which is supposed to be D10, 000, and assured the Banjul mayor that they are still collecting monies.

He added that their target will be fulfilled before the onward transmission of the money to the APRC national mobiliser, Responding to the youths, Mayor Samba Faal said this is the first time in the history of elections that such a good initiative is happening, adding that Banjul will always be a role model.

He assured that the money will be formally handed over to the Banjul APRC Divisional Committee when they meet on Wednesday for onward transmission to the APRC national mobiliser, Yankuba Colley.
