FULL TEXT OF PRESIDENT OBAMA'S SPEECH AT UK PARLIAMENT WESTMINISTER WHITE HALL 25 MAY 2011 DURING HIS VISIT; CLARIFIED HIS POSITION AND WHITE HOUSE ON 1967 BORDERS FOR PALESTINE.
1. BBC NEWS WITH Obama's speech to UK Parliament, in full, with analysis UNDER http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-13549927
SELECTED HIGHLIGHTS OF THESE FINE SPEECHES AS FOLLOWS;
"In a world where the prosperity of all nations is now inextricably linked, a new era of co-operation is required to ensure the growth and stability of the global economy."
"These challenges come at a time when the international order has already been reshaped for a new century. Countries like China, India, and Brazil are growing by leaps and bounds. We should welcome this development, for it has lifted hundreds of millions from poverty around the globe, and created new markets and opportunities for our own nations."
"We do this knowing that the West must overcome suspicion and mistrust among many in the Middle East and North Africa - a mistrust that is rooted in a difficult past. For years, we have faced charges of hypocrisy from those who do not enjoy the freedoms that they hear us espouse. To them, we must squarely acknowledge that yes, we have enduring interests in the region - to fight terror, sometimes with partners who may not always be perfect, and to protect against disruptions in the world's energy supply. But we must also insist that we reject as false the choice between our interests and our ideals; between stability and democracy. Our idealism is rooted in the realities of history - that repression offers only the false promise of stability; that societies are more successful when their citizens are free; and that democracies are the closest allies we have."
2. BBC WITH Obama develops Mid-East strategy with Europeans UNDER http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-13562109
"On the Middle East, President Obama is much closer to the Europeans. His recent speech, in which he argued that a future Palestinian state should be based on territorial lines that existed before the 1967 war - although with exchanges of land - is supported by many European governments.
Europe and America are agreed on Israel and Palestine living side-by-side in security and peace. President Obama says he is confident such a solution can be found. But the obstacles are immense.
Only this week the Israeli Prime Minister told Congress that there would be no return to pre-1967 borders. He was widely applauded. In an American election year Israel will surely use its influence.
The Palestinians say that if there are no peace talks by September they'll go to the UN to seek statehood. Some European states will support this. President Obama is clear that such a route for the Palestinians would be a mistake. There may be tension here between Washington and the European capitals."

Obama saying that UN route for Palestine is a mistake. Why? Where was Israel statehood was established. In Saturn? Why UN is not a place? What can't we trust UN? Obama will veto UN SC resolution for peace. He is not offering any different perspective on Palestine and Israel conflict. Nothing. International Geneva resolution clearly state that, there can not be any territorial gain via war. So, why does Obama is supporting united JSalem under Israel? That is clearly against international law. And international refugee resolution clearly states that refugees must return their home after the war is over. So, how come Obama does not mentioned for Palestinians rights to return. Obama is a puppet president with no power. His becoming president is coincidental.

FROM ABOVE AM COMPLETELY OUT OF TOUCH WITH THIS NEWS;
"U.S. President Barack Obama said last weekend that no vote at the United Nations would ever create a Palestinian state, a strong indication that the U.S. would veto a resolution recommending Palestinian membership in the 192-nation world body."
1. WHICH LAST WEEKEND?
2. WE MAY MISSED SOMETHING LAST WEEKEND? WAS IT AT G8 MEETING
3. HOW CAN OBAMA RECOGNISED 1967 BORDERS AND SOVEREIGN PALESTINIAN STATE; THEN CONDEMN THEM THIS WAS A VIEW EXPRESSED BY A BBC REPORTER; "He [Obama] has no longer set out to impose America's brand of democracy in troubled corners of the world"
4. WHY US WOULD VETO A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING PALESTINIAN MEMBERSHIP IN UN I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA OF US POSITION AND WELCOME TO BE INFORM

The weekend after his 67 speech. He does not support Palestine to go UN to be recognized by 67 borders. He said that. US foreign policy is not set by Obama or anyone else. It is already set. It is a national policy which is dictated by deep government institution. US is not a democracy like Europe where electoral ridings reflects their political choice. Most legislation is drafted/supported by institution, lobby groups etc.

MORE MIDDLE EAST POLITICAL ANALYSIS WITH BBC Netanyahu chooses to make things worse with Capitol Hill speech
"At home, where the Israeli prime minister has plenty of critics who do not share his view of Israel's relations with its neighbours, he can only dream of getting the kind of reception that he had on Capitol Hill." |
