DAILY OBSERVER NEWS KMC wants 90% victory for President Jammeh Convenes solidarity rally ahead of 2011 presidential election UNDER http://observer.gm/africa/gambia/article/kmc-wants-90-victory-for-president-jammeh-convenes-solidarity-rally-ahead-of-2011-presidential-elect

"Janko Sussoh of Ebo Town who also defected to the APRC, told the gathering that they would work harder to ensure many opposition members defect to the APRC. He maintained out that the opposition did not bring any development to them, and so it is baseless to support them. Ousman Rambo Jatta, the councilor for Bakau Ward who earlier on shifted his allegiance to the APRC, said he was not forced to join the APRC as speculated by some. He made it clear that it was his own desire to the party. He called on the people of Bakau to join the APRC and not portray themselves as enemies of the ruling party. He added that he defected with a large number of people.

Ismail Jeiteh, who was with the UDP for 15 years told the gathering that the pillars of UDP has now collapsed as they defected with a great number of people and with great ambition. He also recalled the bleak situation some of them were in previously, and went on to predict a landslide victory for the APRC come the 2011 Presidential Election."
