How refreshing, a Gambian Enterprise that has been suffering from, I think software problems, has made a great effort in getting back on line with news, the visual presentation is not as professional as at their launch but it shows that these folks are determined to keep going despite not having the ideal tools for the job, just think,if every average Gambian put in as much effort,Gambia would improve out of all recognition !! WELL DONE DAILY NEWS.

Toubab,
I must second you in your thoughts regards to this. I have enjoyed reading their style of reportage, and the "agressive" way they've always done it. Remember well what it means surviving as a media house in the Gambia with the ammendment that was done on the media bill , obviously ended up costing Deyda (RIP) his life, and exiled a lot of professional journalists. The hope now, with the observed trends of blowing winds of change, that Gambia of all countries might be a beneficiary of the recent revolution. Once that happen, I would think journalism will re-juvenate for the better, for it is a very noble profession. It is all about sacrifice for humanity. I enjoy reading the presentation of ideas. It helps one to grow in knowledge and wisdom, and there is no single man that is an island.
Long Live the Daily news & all media houses!
