Hi Folks. I had a call from family in the UK last night about AAA (African Alliance Airways) they had a landing slot at London Gatwick for 20.15 hrs flight No JAY 766 from Banjul and a takeoff slot for Banjul at 22.00hrs. Flight No JAY 767 1ST feb 2011 These times appeared on the Gatwick arrivals and departures board. No aircraft arrived. On checking no Aircraft arrived or left Banjul. You can check there website at www.africanallianceairlines.com no aircraft a registered to this company On investigation this sounds like a lot of other airlines that were setting up new routes from Nigeria After several hours of research no information could be found about any backing companies. This might be another scam Be very careful sending credit card details or money until their credentials are clear. Remember Air Nigeria and Intercontinental Airways!! I made a call to their London office and asked when the next flight to Gambia would be “ Sometime in the summer” not sure
Dr Thomas as usual you have your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground your efforts to highlight things that should be highlighted are much appriciated by myself and I am sure all those on Bantaba in cyberspace .

If it's not a scam then the information that was available at its inception was defective, bearing in mind that the airport displayed information on its boards that was WRONG,not a good start for a new enterprise you must admit, the company's credibility has taken a vast knock back even before it has started trading,What say you "professor" ?

AAA is not a scam.AAA is yet to commence operations. As soon as operations commences the general public will be informed through the relevant medium.

I also have strong doubts about these people The airline forums dont believe they are bona-fide and they first claimed they would be operational mid 2009!
Dr Thomas i am grateful for bring this information to our notice. We are doing a follow-up on what happened that flights were displayed. It was a mistake by the authorities.I want to assure all that our credibility is intact.Arrangements are on-going to start soonest.I will keep you all informed in this forum.
professor,I see that you are a member of the blame culture gang "a mistake by the authorities"
"We are doing a follow-up on what happened that flights were displayed." It's now the 11th March a very considerable time after the plane failed to materialise on 1st February if this is an example of how your company makes enquiries into things that have gone wrong even before you have acquired planes then your creditability is far from being repaired.Look forward to a reply in a couple of months
