I can see some people would rather have a dictator in power than have Darboe lead any united opposition.
very well let Jammeh win and win and win and win.
We all including supporters of other oppositions have all to live under His heated sun in it?
I support any opposition capable of booting this Man out be it Halifa, Darboe, OJ, Hamat, Mai, or even Mendy!
I just feel for the love of my country United we can do it backed by the power of the people.
The fact is there for all to see even die hard haters of Darboe as some of you have burn inside when ever the leadership of Darboe heading the United opposition is mentioned.
Come 2011 show time for us all.If I was an opposition leader and have some of you as my supporters, I would make sure you are as far from me as possible because chamellions change colour and your loyalty cannot be garranteed,Maybe because of cyber, some of you so called supporters of Halifa and other oppositions may infact be Jammeh die hards who knows slowly we are together sliding down to a monarchy and then we shall all bow to HRH MUHAMMAD BIN YAHYA JAMMEH AND PRINCESS MIMI BINT YAHYA JAMMEH!

Janyanfara;
We all know what is behind the ANY BODY BUT DARBOE (ABD) policy. I have called out the many mistakes that Darboe and the UDP made in the past but I will rather see him in office than Yahya. I would love to see a common sense approach to this leadership issue. You are right some will love to live under the status quote than see Darboe as the leader. I guess if UDP is adamant about choosing a leader in any form of union by virtue of its size and the minor parties are unwilling to unite behind the main opposition party then we are all doomed.

THE POINT IS NOT CHEAP PROPAGAND! FOR INSTANCE QUOTING YOU JANYAFARA WITH; "I can see some people would rather have a dictator in power than have Darboe lead any united opposition.
very well let Jammeh win and win and win and win.
We all including supporters of other oppositions have all to live under His heated sun in it?"

JANYAFARA SUCH CHEAP RHETORIC IS NOT A WINNING FORMULA! ALSO NO ONE IS AGAINST LAWYER DARBOE. LAWYER DARBOE BLEW THE PROSPECT OF BEING THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBIA; 2006 UNDER NADD! WHAT IS MORE ANNOYING IS THE PAMPERING AND PROPAGANDA BY DAFFEH/UDP -UK TO MAKE HIM "ABD", INSTEAD OF UDP LEADERSHIP/SECRETARIAT/EXECUTIVE BASE COMING OUT WITH A SOUND OR CLEAR-CUT STRATEGY, RESOLUTIONS AND AGENDA FOR 2011? A GOOD POLITICAL LEADER SHOULD FIGHT FOR WHAT IT WANTS BUT WE ARE NOT GETTING IT FROM LAWYER DARBOE/UDP. IT IS PARTY MILITANTS ESPECIALLY DAFFEH/UDP-UK MAKING LOTS OF NOISE AND PROPAGANDA TO DOMINATE ON-LINE MEDIA CAMPAIGN AGAINST PDOIS/NADD; TO DERAIL ANY PLANS,PROSPECTS & CONSPIRACY TOUNITE & ELIMINATE JAMMEH/APRC; FOR A THIRD REPUBLIC!

FURTHERMORE A UNITED NATIONAL FRONT OR ANY FORMIDABLE ALLIANCE/COALITION PRIMARILY IS TO MOBILISE A DYNAMIC NATIONAL FORCE FOR A REGIME CHANGE AGAINST JAMMEH/APRC. WE ALL KNEW WHAT IS AT STAKE IN NATIONAL INTERESTS AND THE ROOT OF THIS CAMPAIGN IS NOT ELECTING DARBOE AS THE PRESIDENT OF THE GAMBIA; ALBEIT AS UDP PARTY LEADER AND CANDIDATE HE IS ELIGIBLE TO BE THE PRESIDENT OF THE GAMBIA.

WHERE ARE THESE FOR THE GAMBIA OUR HOMELAND

1. UDP CONGRESS RESOLUTIONS

2. UDP AGENDA FOR 2011

3. UDP STANCE ON WAY FOWARD.

YOU CANNOT IGNORE THE FACT THAT THESE WERE TENDERED BY PDOI/NADD FOR PUBLIC CONSUMPTION

PDOIS/NADD FOCUSED ON DRAWING THE PROPOSALS, OPEN OPTIONS AND STRATEGIES BUT NOTHING IS COMING OUT OF UDP CAMP APART FROM MILITANTS CLAIMING MORE RIGHTFUL CIVIC OWNERSHIP THAN OTHERS, BEING MORE POPULAR, LARGEST OPPOSITION PARTY AND THE ONLY ALTERNATIVE PARTY TO RULE; IF JAMMEH/APRC IS TOPPLED!

WE WILL NOT GIVE IT TO DARBOE/UDP INCLUDING CRONIES TO LEAD OR RULE US ON A SILVER PLATTER! WE ALL HAVE TO STRIVE FOR IT AS WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER AS OPPONENTS OF JAMMEH/APRC; IN ORDER TO SAVE THE GAMBIA DEMOCRACY!

Indeed Haruna, time is a healer here, and with foresight and forward looking atitude, surprises can happen. This is evident even in the stale African politics where we see incumbents crying foul now, accusing the opposition of crimes they have played for years. Ivory Coast election is a classic example. With the right campaign strategy, we can move the ground.

Forward we march and we say no the detractors and the pitiful.

With Kebba Sanneh’s expertise, we are confident that UDP [Sweden Chapter] will soon become a vibrant chapter that adds value to the party [UDP] as a whole. We urge all supporters and Sympathisers of the UDP in Scandinavia to give Kebba their unreserved support.

The ultimate aim is to formulate a chapter based on democratic principles and the ideals of the parent body, the United Democratic Party. We wish you all the best in this very noble endeavour and look forward to reporting your progress to the Secretatrait in Banjul.

The Chapter [UDP UK] urges all Gambians to take cognisance of the fact that every day, month and year of the APRC misrule is sowing seeds of long term damage to the tranquillity of our society and thereby putting the future of our children and grand children at risk. We therefore have a historic responsibility to work together as Gambians, to save the future of our great country. In this respect, UDP UK calls on all Gambians, both at home and abroad, to join the UDP and its leader, Alhagi Ousainou Darboe, in their bid to constitutionally remove the APRC government from power in this upcoming 2011 presidential election. We consider this to be the fierce urgency of now.
