Yaya Jammeh, his thoughts and actions will be resigned to the dust bins of history. To every fair thinker, there is no worse thing happening to Gambia(ns) than armed bandits holding everyone terrified victims.
After all that he booted and looted, it is beyond the limits that Yaya still wants carrying on. Is this man putting on his right thinking hat at all?
More troubles for Gambia(ns) Will he ever learn to say thank and sorry and stop expecting the opposite?
Yaya remains the most ungrateful person on Gambian soil. |

Karamba not only has Jammeh gone from rags to rich so to have thousands of Gambians in the past 16 years. In fact the speed of Gambia's development has been so rapid whereby people who have remained in the west trying to scrimp and save to build their futures. When they return to Gambia after many years of absence are taken aback about what they've seen since they last visited the country. Now it's obvious that you haven't returned home for somtime otherwise you wouldn't be stuck in a time warp. Primary data is so much authentic than secondary data in political analyse.

Sister Omega,
It makes one wonder what planet you draw your life experience from. Building cement and gravel structures, destroying life!! You still adore that. Sister, you have no clue how many times anyone goes to Gambia. Just speculate if that makes you happy.
It is one big insult to every Gambian to have people like you promoting concrete cement walls at very high cost of human life and basic peaceful existence.
Are you happy that Yaya Jammeh kills and builds ten more houses to replace one human foot step ?
What standards of assessment are you employing to arrive at these bizzare sentiments? Are you serious Sister Omega? |

"Please, avidly stand for your political beliefs but dont insult the intelligence of the rest of mankind in defending your bloodthirsty "leader" because he has developed the country and so forth. Also do not desecrate the memory of those murdered by the APRC regime and the pain of their families by dismissing criticism of your "Man" as" rumour" (not roamer as you hurriedly spelled it in your rush to attack an APRC dissident)." Watchman
Brother you can say that all over again. The Tunisian Ex-President was chating the same things our folks are chating about.... "I HAVE BROUGHT DEVELOPMENT" yet the people are hungry... This can only happen in the Gambia. Let us carry on, when it hit the tip, Jammeh's criminal enterprise will colapse over him, and he will have no where to run to. He is still sitting on his rotten eggs, we will know how much damage he has done when he is booted out. Every night break into a day... The reason Jammeh took out the term limit was to continue hiding his corruptions and evil crimines. Because, knowing Gambians, they will reveal everything, the day he is doomed. I mean everything. Jammeh kicked out Jawara, he said because of over staying in power, yet he refuse to cap the lenght any Gambian can rule. What a load of rubbish. |

Answer this question why has the UDP youth mobilser joined the APRC. It just seems that you guys continue to be out of step with what's happening in Gambia. For the record when I go to Gambia I listen to peoples views and don't dictate to them. The other thing is support in the rural areas is supportive to Jammeh and let me tell you that their mobilisers aren't crossing over anytime soon to join an opposition where even the leaders haven't got a clear idea where they're heading. But one thing is for sure the Soutn Bank Road will be completed soon and then the whole country can travel much faster from one end of Gambia to another, just like they can on the North bank thanks to President Jammeh. Visionaries like yourselves would still have citizens driving on mud tracks as infrastructure means very little to you, unless it's in the country you chose to reside in of course.

With all the support as you portray it Sister Omega, why does anyone gets killed for excessive power play? Why kill? Why steal? Why covet? Why bear false witness?
Why does a president need to be herbal medicine man? Why all the lofty vain titles?
Stop joking Sister Omega. Is that how development is perceived in the part of this planet that you live? Not Britain any way. In Britain, politicians account for their deeds and wikll avoid bizzre ways as your patron Jammeh does.

Santanfara,
Watchman is right and that refers more to blessed Sister Omega more than any soul on earth.
What's happenning recently is clear signal that Yaya has no safety. All doors are closing. But for the wicked like Yaya Jammeh, he shall never see truth. He is dead blind to the truth or shall we say he lives in self denial as people like Sister Omega drum up such misleading views. |

Karamba sorry to rain on your parade but I just thought I'd let you know that Britain isn't the Blueprint for the world and although you've kept up your daily barrage of abuse towards Yaya Jammeh on roughly a hourly basis for the past few years. Their effects are similiar to little whippets barking at the moon whilst the empty barrel picks up velocity as it accelerates down a hill and comes crashing down with an almighty Bang! And guess what it can't change nothing because the wind stopped when it reached the bottom. Nobody has ever said that Jammeh's perfect and there is lots of work still to be done with the accumulation of time things have changed and momentum is taking shape to bring vision 2020 to reality. You see Karamba without a leader having a clear vision he or she will never be able to lead people backbiting just ain't enough. Jammeh has physically participated in tolling for the country when was the last time did any of the opposition pick up a shovel or hoe and did any farming. They are far too proud to get Gambian soil on their hands.

Karamba Tenkaran The testament of Yahya's criminality is evident in his refusal to allow the Gambian tax payer to see other members of the society utilise the TV, Radio and free press to express themselves. If he thinks his concrete development are a way to die in power, why is he suppressing the views of Gambian opposition to use what all our revenue maintain? Didn't we see the closure of another Radio station why? Dictators have rotten balls, and they know the stench will massacre anyone who comes close. To deter ordinary people exposing their lies and corruptions, they intend to die in power by lying and repeating the nonsence of development. People want free expression of their opinion, they want peace and a two term limit to presidency so that, all rotten eggs can quickly be disposed and get rid off. Yahya's rotten stinking eggs will soon be revealed. His blatants riches is a sad testament of a corrupt soul. Let him allow a free press, no killing, unlawful arrest and detension and see what will happen. Karamba Tenkaran, good job, many readers are quietly admiring the rich thoughts you have. God bless you. |

Oh the grest sister omega, I think you need to go to political school and learn politic.Point scoring and realities on the ground are two sides of every story.Dictators have gone and come even in your native europe.Maybe you have to learn history about yourself and when you knoiw about yourself then you can chat with me because I know about my country and myself and thats why I can boldly tell Jammeh supporters are in three folds. 1.Supporters of self pocket gains 2.Supporters by fear Supporters because of without him you would never be honoured by the people. |

The question for janyanfara, how can you guarantee udp supporters are any different? Do you think they have better DNAs than Jammeh supporters. Or they are morally divine. How can you guarantee UDP supporter are not motivated of 'self pocket gains'. How can you guarantee, they will not become dicta. I mean UDP supporter are not from Saturn. UDP and APRC supporters are brothers, sisters, friends, mothers, uncles, fathers...
But I give you credits, you actually made clear that the issues of gambia is not due to Jammeh. It is all about ordinary gambians who are motivated by financial gain, which could make situation same under UDP, and they do not have heart to demand change. Thanks for your honesty.... |

Janyanfara,
Your right to condemn criminality by gun men parading on Gambian is well possessed.
Yaya Jammeh has to play the senisble way. Even if it was the fact everyone loved him to the bones, that is not enough to glue his nose on the seat of president. He is not sensible and wasting time.
He remains a raw fabric of banditory.
His source of power is gun and nothing. |

Foroyaa Focus on Politics reviews featured verbatim recaps on series of BROKEN PROPMISES as this one; “What I Will Make Clear To You Is This, In This Election Affair, I will Not Contest”, Says Chairman Jammeh under http://www.foroyaa.gm/modules/news/article.php?storyid=6054
WE WERE FOREWARNED WITH INTERESTING QUOTES:"Where is Jawara now? He is nowhere to be found. What is the reaction of those people who used to shower praises on Jawara? They are now condemning him. These same people are now calling for ‘no elections’. They are the ones asking Chairman Jammeh to stay in power forever; that he is the same as Prophet Yahya."
"So both the knife and the meat are with you. You have seen yesterday and today. If you want a donkey to be president, he will be president. It is left to you. But everybody believes a donkey can work but if it kicks you, it is because of your negligence."Chairman Lt Yaya A.J.J.Jammeh |

Kobo,
The quote below spells with no error much about Yaya Jammeh. He is simply telling Gambians that even though he (donkey) can work, he (donkey) can kick too. What is the difference between a working donkey (Yaya according to Sister and the concrete pillar works) and a kicking donkey (again Yaya as he gets on hiring and firing (kicking) ?
Is Yaya Jammeh not the most ungrateful to Gambia(ns) ?
