More feathers on your fine hat Watchman. You are bold and very fair. Gambia needs you. Bantaba is one right place for you to share the valuable stock of yours. You have just done what many calling for bravery will never get near doing.

Big hugs and warm welcome to you. Job done. Keep it up. More thanks for sharing.

Once more, I was/still am showing why I had to change tact and review my stance on Bantaba in Cyberspace and the INCORRECT perception that anyone who supports PDOIS and Halifah Sallah (held by me) is one of my reasons. I hope this clears the air and helps you digest the crux of my apology.

Demba, thanks for the kind words. The apology is geared towards you a lot and you know why

Kobo,I suggest you get your mind off some of the comments here that you did not like by perusing this:

Now, is that better?

Thanks Watchman for clarifying your stance with PDOIS and tendering apologies to whom it may concern. However some of your comments appear misconstrued? I hope you also realised the need to back-track from this unrealistic myth in this line quoted; "I churlishly went into "self-imposed exile", refusing to participate in what I started calling a congregation of "dogmatic" fanatics whose members were mostly PDOIS die-hards waiting to pounce on anyone with a divergent perspective on the bona fides of Halifa Sallah and co."

Am proud to do a nice job as VOLUNTEER UNDERTAKER; for I have defended the integrity of Halifa from the offensive title of "Ayatollah" and PDOIS from smearing campaign! So case close and lets move on THE NATIONAL ISSUES

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK IN CYBERSPACE AS AM A FOLLOWER OR FAN; WHO COVER ALL THE ARTICLES ON YOUR BLOG!

Watchman, you are must welcome and the apology is mutual from my side as well. If at any point in time since we run into each other in cyber space that I came across as disrespectful or wanting... I equally apologize.

I think we deeply share some common aspirations in seeing Gambians in cyber space elevate their professionalism and tolerance to each other. Democracy and freedom of expression calls for dissenting views and the ability to hear other peoples'views on issues.

Collectively and with laser like focus on the issues we can change the tones, reshape the debates and convince our fellow citizens that the future is bright. No amount of name calling should distract us from the fundamental issues and duties as citizens.

Thank you again for a great blog!!! Happy thanksgivings should you be celebrating the feast.

Baldeh,

Watchman, thanks for your comments. It is clear that the responses to my posting [apart from yours] have vindicated the points I've raised with regards to your apology. That is a great source of joy to me as it means job done.

Regards

I finally believed that you are a tribalist and if this is what udp is all about they will never rule the gambia. Gambians are tired of the politics of the 70's which was about tribe. If you hate Yahya because he is a jola shame on you because he is ruling and continues to rule. What are you going to do? Go to the gambia and talk **** to him.
What the gambia needs is not tribalist but the Halifas. Sidia and Halifa are inseparable so you can talk to sidia all you want and avoid Halifa. The two shares the same ideologies and there relationship is what all gambians needs

I have always known that you are a sick *****. So clearly your comments don't bother me. I know it is all about your ineptness and lack of explanation for your adopted political position hence, your fixation with tribal slurs.

I have no comfort to give you in that.

Regards

Nyari,

I know how tough it can be when others simplify one's positions but the beauty of Bantaba in Cyberspace is that it shows the passion of all Gambians in their political future. Let's allow each other to disagree without being extremely disagreeable.Where there is a freedom or liberty deficit, as it is in The Gambia, there is also a high tendency for raw misgivings to rear their ugly heads. I am learning from all of you guys on here. Lesson number 1 for me: Even the person that assails your view points in the most vicious manner has something to teach you. Do not let emotion rob you of this golden opportunity. Peace Brother.

Hey Watchman!

Thanks for your comments. I don't know about the simplifications being tough to handle. As a matter of fact, I do enjoy the razmatazz.

Watchman don't bother to polish Nyanrikangbanna. We knew his personal agenda and hatred for Halifa Sallah?

WHAT HAS HALIFA DONE TO BE CASTIGATED WITH STUPID TITLES OF "AYATOLLAH" AND PERSONAL DIS-RESPECTFUL TIRADES OVER & OVER AGAIN?

QUOTATION:"Let me state some preliminary facts. I knew Hon. Halifa Sallah since the 1980s when he was the Director of Social Welfare and after. He operated a scholoarship programme, including lend a book and return at the end of the school year. Hon Sallahīs commitment and devotion to the ordinary person is one that many can readily testify to. The history of The Gambia would be incomplete without a chapter on the indispensable contributions of Hon. Halifa Sallah, his travails and aspirations for our nation, his fiery but serene courage, selflessness, consistency, sacrifice, prodigious intellectual might, honesty and moral disposition. He has inspired many tremendously. This is not a fanciful undertaking to eulogise Hon. Sallah but facts are facts. He is a role model for political activists like myself."
