Many people you talk to these days will openly say how they feel Yaya Jammeh is pushing Gambia to war. This is a potentially damaging situation for a small nation.

With the plans of wanting to be king, there are people ready to resist Yaya's bad intention. Going by his record of killings and disappearance of people, there are people ready ready to challenge, no matter what comes of it.

The feeling of other people is that when resstance intensifies, Yaya will order for armed bandits to shoot as in the student riots where many young person faced death by forceful hands of brutal Gambian army. Then more flames will come up as people see their friends and family being killed by gun fire in a scale of riot against brutality.

That way the inevitable situation of war sets in. The only way to prevent war from consuming Gambia is when Yaya stops thinking absurd and stays out of Gambian politics. The man said on many occasions that he is no politician.

What exactly is the skill and competence of Yaya Jammeh that Gambians will trust him run the country this long?

Should his international partners in crime capture and cause Yaya to disappear from Gambia, what will people miss?

Will Gambia be saved from war as Yaya advances for his notorious crown of a jungle king?

Where will Cassamance rebels be supporting when war breaks from the terror actions of Yaya Jammeh?

THE SKILLS INCLUDE; BEING NOT A COWARD, A MASTER OF GAMBIAN NAIVETY; SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS VERY WELL HOW TO INTIMIDATE OR MAKE THEM PARANOID THROUGH PSYCHOPATHIC & STATE TERRORISM HE ALSO GOT THE SKILLS TO TAME THE ARM FORCES AS ZOMBIES (IN PLEDGING ALLEGIANCE TO HIM & BEING OF SERVICE TO HIM AS PRESIDENT/COMMANDER IN CHIEF INSTEAD OF NATION)! HE APPEARS TO BE TOO SMART OR INTELLIGENT FOR GAMBIANS

SOME MAY TAKE HIM TO BE AN IMPOSTER NOT FIT TO LEAD BUT HE HAS CONQUERED THE COUNTRY A VERY LONG TIME AGO! SO WHY BOTHER WITH THE CORONATION? ITS JUST A CEREMONIAL TITLE FOR A KING TO CONSOLIDATE HIS PARAMOUNT AUTHORITY WITH LOCAL CHIEFS, ALKALOS & SHAKE GAMBIAN HISTORY! EMPEROR BOKASSA IS NOW HISTORY SO JAMMEH AS KING/MANSA WILL GO IN THE HISTORY BOOKS; TO SATISFY HIS EGO WITH TITLES!

Kobo,

The fellow is nothing less than a rogue. He holds weapons of mass destruction. He does not have the skills required to be head of government. Before the deadly coup of 1994, Yaya was not even managing a simple social relation. He was not a soldier of any merit. He has nothing to offer Gambia. He is totally ungrateful to Gambians and wants to claim that it is the other way round.

It is critically unsafe to have Yaya the way things go.

TO ADDRESS THE FEAR FACTOR Karamba I think you need to read Gambia Echo online news Letter writer's stern words challenges Gambians for introspection under http://www.thegambiaecho.com/Homepage/tabid/36/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/2114/Default.aspx

ALSO FOROYAA EDITORIAL Don’t They Have Right To Petition Government Officials? under http://www.foroyaa.gm/modules/news/article.php?storyid=5686

"If farmers who are not literate realise that petitions would land them in the hands of the police many will yield to silence and acceptance of injustice." Foroyaa = Same as MANY YIELDING TO SILENCE AND ACCEPTANCE OF INJUSTICE

Kobo,

Instiutionalised suppression of people's rights is what criminal regimes like Yaya's AFPRC trade on to instill fear in citizens.

All these are accumulating for some time now. Eventually, something is bound to explode out of control. Take this for a matter of fact. Yaya will not end up enjoying the scale of blatant injustice.

After some time, fear will vanish and citizen's power reigns for good. That fear then turns into resistance and defiance. It is sure to come.

The move by Foroyaa in pursuing this unfortunate case is by itself a learning experience for those involved. Good work there and by all accounts progressive.

Down with retarded forces and cruel exploiters of good people.
