They are currently in Dakar, Senegal, for interrogation. According to sources, Ebou Tarrou Njie and three others were among the lot who travelled with ex-president Jammeh on 21 January 2017 on board the privately-owned plane to Guinea-Conakry en-route to Equatorial Guinea. Sources disclosed that Ebou Tarrou Njie was dropped along with some other Jammeh sympathizers in Guinea-Conakry. Following the departure of ex-president Jammeh to Equatorial Guinea, the photographer (Ebou Tarrou Njie) and the three others decided to return to their native country (The Gambia).
