The Gambia Police Force (GPF) through its public relations officer has called on the general public to visit the mortuary of Serrekunda General Hospital in Kanifing and identify the body of an identified young man, believed to be between the ages of 19 to 23.
The man was a victim of a fatal accident that occurred on Wednesday 10th December at Old Yundum in the West Coast Region (WCR) between 19:25-18:00 hours.
ASP David Kujabi, the police spokesperson, described the deceased as slim, medium height and with short shaven hair. “He was wearing black trousers and multicoloured striped shirt of red, black and white,” he further explained.
The police PRO said anyone with knowledge of this description about a relative or friend missing should not hesitate to visit the mortuary or Old Yundum Police station for possible identification.
Kujabi used the opportunity to Police advice the general public to always carry with them some forms of identification of wherever they go. Author: Omar Wally
