Posted - 08 Aug 2013 : 14:41:58 Foroyaa has correctly identified a big problem and explained it well,BUT,MOST AFRICANS,that I have come into contact with in Africa (OK in Gambia, since I have little experience of many other African countries)have ingrained thinking of GIVE ME,GIVE ME ,in relation to life,it is not understood that SOMEONE (the government ?) has to pay for, health, education, development,EVERYTHING has a price,NOTHING IS FREE, WHO is going to pay that price? Where does the money come from? I understand that such thinking,is perpetuated partly by a lack of meaningful properly paid JOBS,and many many other reasons. The concept of actually PAYING TAX is not understood at all. Warnings about consequences are unheeded, firm action is readily understood fully, this leads to a concentration of thought, I will go to prison if I do not do this, I am not going to do this, I will run away, I cannot do this not I will stop immediately.
This is my own opinion, many will disagree strongly I expect, will these people even bother to respond to this post and give their opinions ?
I doubt it !
