Foroyaa has asked the question about the think tank and its members.I would suggest that MAYBE the concept of a Think Tank ia a concept of an advanced democratic society,The Gambia is but a fledgling democracy now and the administration has realised that such a concept is at this time not necessary.Food production, job creation, hygiene education, hospital improvements, and many other basic needs of the population of the Gambia NOW should take preference instead of the Talk Talk that would pervade such an advanced concept as a Think Tank.

Please post and give YOUR OPINION and prove my thinking wrong.Thanks.

WHEN WILL THE THINK TANK BE CONSTITUTED?
EditorAugust 8, 2017

QUESTION OF THE DAY

The inauguration of the think tank was initially postponed without explanation.

Then on 29 June it was launched and reporters were told that 16 members constitute the think tank. They did not see the members at the launch. A list was provided to reporters but they were later told not to publish it. It is now more than a month since the launching of the think tank but its members are yet to be announced. Nothing has been said as to when they are to start.

The think tank is supposed to be the brain of the government, guiding it in its policies and programmes and therefore has a significant role to play in the development of this nation. It’s coming into being has been delayed since January and it needs not be further delayed.

How do they call it? Putting the cart before the horse?

Some people on the list said they were not consulted before their names were put on the list.....
