How can one man be allowed to shut down a State? Why hasn't Jammeh been ejected from State House already?
If one man can halt ECOMoG how are they meant to be taken seriously? It seems that there is one law for Jammeh and another for every other President in the world.
Africa needs to get its act together the world is watching. They are still in talks with him. The longer he remains in State house trying to negotiate himself out of being sent to the Hague. The quicker it will be for them to get an ICC Arrest warrant. So maybe it serves all parties at the moment for him to remain in Stehouse. He has already been given the opportunity to go into exile in Nigeria, Morrocco, Guinea Conakry, and Mauritania. His belonging have already been shipped over there. He is trying to hold on to the wealth he has a massed over the 22 years both inside and outside of Africa. He thinks he is a King and wants to take away the resources that were supposed to be distributed to the Gambia, and keep it all for himself. His assets needs to be frozen. However this still remains to be seen.

The plane carrying #Gambia's Yahyah Jammeh will proceed to Malabo from Conakry. Unclear if he will continue to the Equatorial Guinea capital.

By Nfally Fadera This is madness! A cargo plane is in The Gambia loading presidential Rolls Royces among other luxurious vehicles that purportedly belong to Yahya Jammeh. The nation is being looted in the open.
President Barrow and the Chief of Defense Staff must act now to stop this broad daylight robbery! This plane MUST NOT leave our shores. Barrow man up! You're the President and Commander In Chief. Act like one!!!!
According to Mai Fatty, a close aide to the President, an executive directive was given to deny landing rights to the cargo. Thus, all those responsible for undermining the order must be held responsible.
I have personally confirmed this to be true with reliable sources on the ground.
In a another development, Jammeh did NOT land in Guinea Conakry where the aircraft stopped briefly to dropped President Conde, as confirmed by BBC's AlHassan Sillah in Conakry. Thus, he'll in exile in Equatorial Guinea. source/pic: Sainey Darboe ps: post last update @4::00am |
