It's serene deep and threatening
It's quiet but very ominous
It's dark and has no bright lines or linings
It's expansive and foreboding
It's speaks in tones that make no noise
Yet the wise know and they hear all that is spoken
The foolish go on in ignorance
Which is no bliss
For when the eventual truth comes alight
Finds them with pants down
None around to raise them
Dazed they shall walk in shame
In broad day light
For warning that came was unheeded
Justice thus served on a bitter platter
